  1. Pee-Wee Fanney= University of Tennessee signee Any Jefferson County Player= Carson Newman signee That my friend, is the difference between Pee-Wee and da 'necks.
  2. Try the Citizen Tribune from Morristown - 1-800-624-0281. Maybe the can copy and then fax you it. Deez New Utz
  3. Morristown West vs. Jefferson County This game will be well worth the price of admission. This is not the same Jefferson County teams of the past lead at the helm of Craig Kisabeth. Scott Meadows is an excellent coach.....with that said, the game will be a close one. It will be the game of the week, but West's defense is unreal. West 21, Jefferson County 20 "If that Wood's hater can't swim, he's bound to drizound"
  4. Word this, word that..the fact still remains that both Jefferson County and Morristown East have not played anyone worth a dime. Morristown West played a top-five team in Cleveland. So, for those jumping off the West bandwagon, jump back on...Don D. Woods will adjust to the offensive woes. West's squad may not have the offense this season, but West does have one thing... The Don D. Woods factor. Enough said. "Offensive Wins Games, but Defense Wins Championships..And my friend, Morristown West has the defense" - Vince Lombardi da remix featuring Kaleb and da crew Morristown West 21, Jefferson County 20. Morristown West 28, Morristown East 20
  5. Hands down - Morristown West. Four Division 1 defensive players. Unreal defense.
  6. Morristown West and Cleveland was a pure battle of defense. Well, West had the better defense, but a much worse offense. If West could have found any way to move the ball, this game would have been a blow out for West. If West doesn't make changes on offense, they will not win like in the past. But, with Pee Wee Fanney, Kaleb Goforth, Emmanuel Frederick, Eddy Gregg, and Justin Hite on defense, they should win games like the movie 'Waterboy'..just leave the defense on the field and hopefully the defense can score. If Cleveland's Barber is the best back in the state, then, you might need to look around the state more. He's a decent running back.
  7. If I was the visiting broadcaster, I would call the game from the stands via telephone and tell that old man coach...who cares, your team is awful. {{THE last line you wrote is vulgar to say the least and thus why I deleted it. Please follow the CoachT rules and watch your language and tone. - Del Tavian.}}
  8. West 45, East 10. Same as always. West is the best, East is the least. This is the worst post anybody has EVER written. East High has NO chance. East High Fan, go pick on a 1-A school.
  9. Morristown West should have received every vote.
  10. 1. Quarles (Maryville)...2. Don Woods (Morristown West) 3. Scott Meadows (Jefferson County)...4. Phil Fulmer (Tennessee) 5. Larry Smith (Morristown East)
  11. The Morristown East beat goes to Derwin Helton. He has done the beat for over 20 years. Every writer has their own style. It is just like an athlete. Trent takes a more conservative, fact ridden aspect to his stories. Kevin Barnard and Barry Campbell take a more homer approach. Their style is more new school, than old school. Kevin Utt was recently voted the state's best prep (high school) writer in the state of Tennessee. So, his psychological approach works with the judges. So, JPATS 55, if one style does not work for you, it does for another. So, sports writing is just a personal preference to the reader. Since, the newspaper is located in Morristown, they do a better job of covering Morristown East and West. That is the main draw. But, Jefferson County has been covered with a reporter ever since the days of former Sports Editor Justin Cress. Statistics at the Tribune show that over 10,000 Jefferson Countians subscribe to the Sunday issue of the Citizen Tribune during football season. With that alone, Jefferson County football is worth sending a reporter to. Anything the Tribune does is better than the Standard Banner. The Tribune has strong writers, so they should be applauded.
  12. Brian Trent does the beat for Jefferson County at the Citizen Tribune.
  13. Not yet. I'm working out like a mad man trying to hook up em goods. Class of 2003. Holla at me man.
  14. Jive..I know who you are. I know who Transplant is. I'm just shooting the bull. We are all on the same side. I have no clue who that last guy is. I figured he was your boy. Not sure, though. Dude, I was also the fastest back as a Saint. I could have made it to the NFL, but my mom said I was too small -ha. Holla
