I haven't seen YAB play this year but I'm seen them in the state last year, they looked good at times (like when the beat the blackhawks) but didn't strike me as a team that would be ready for top notch competition such as the FAMILY. But then again, you guys may be ALOT better this year, I heard about some new 6'8 dude that yall have.

This is the way that I see it: cdm'z poll: 1. Hillsboro - hasn't lost too much but has gained more than they had lost. 2. Melrose - should be pretty good but I believe that their qb has Graduated. 3. Maryville - has lost Alot but those young guys that practiced with those guys that graduated from last have no choice but to be good. 4. Cleveland - were pretty good last year, they shoud be even better in the 03' season. 5. Pearl-Cohn - has the tools to be pretty good this year, but their first game against Hillsboro can determine their whole season, confidence-wise. 6. Memphis East - were good and should be the 2nd best in Memphis this year.

I didn't get to make the state this past weekend but I already know that J-Gordon proved to be the best in the tournament (for the simple fact that he is). . . . I thought that the Ballerz had a chance to win the tourney, specially because they have the two best sophmores in the state (according to GoMabz RaNkInGs. . . . TN Thunder placed 2nd in the state which was better than I thought that they would do. How did the 2nd best PG(according to Gomabz RaNkInGs) do. . . . : How did Johnnie Lee (an extremely underrated pg) do for the Royals, and how did they do as a team. . . . J-Gordon-(Attitude aside) I believe that he has proven to be #1. He hasn't got the publicity that the Delks or Smith has because CDF doesn't go to those huge national tournaments, but after nationals he will be in the top30. . . . What really happened with the Ballerz, and did they play CDF.

Thats hard to believe that they placed fifth, I thought that they were better than that. Who stood out the most this weekend out of all of the players. I didn't go but I'm pretty sure that it was Mr. J-Gordon.

Auri really does need to put on some cleats and a helmet, at this age he would be unstoppable.

Henry Harris maybe a little bit better than number 4 what about this. 1. Andre Allen - should be number one, He's The 2A mr. basketball winner 2. Henry Harris - Has just been too much this year and should get more recognition nationally. 3. Reiley Ervin - Has prove to be in the mix this summer I also believe that A.J. Price, and Ron Taylor should be in the top 15 somewhere.

It could go either way between the Mottep Pathers, Murfressboro Stars, and the Memphis YOMCA. All three of the teams are very talented and should go to the nationals.

I totally agree with you, and he does need to make an effort to change his attitude or he will be left behind. I do still think that he's the best soph. in the state skill wise but if his attitude doesn't change he'll just be another good player who could of made it.

Its about time that you've recognized that he is the best soph in the state he shouldn't be #2 he should be #1. He does this day in and day out. Why he's the best: 1. has a better perimeter skills than Tyler as far as shooting and ball handling. 2. Has just as much outside game as the Delks but more inside game, more physically developed. 3. Just more skill than Cromwell Should be #1

He's pretty solid, for the fact that he's 6'7 and unclumbsy. He shines alot more because he goes to Hickman County, but he will be a very good player by his senior year. pretty good at mid-range shots

Gomab will finally see Jamont play in the state, there he will show you who's really number 1. I hope CDF plays the ballerz. Then he might change his mind.

Midstate Ballerz should win the state this year. They sub 5 at a time, and their second five is just as good as their first five, they also have 2 nationally ranked players on there team, Charles Davis is pretty good. But, I dont know about beating the ballerz.

My top 5 would be, this is what it really should be 1. Jamont Gordon 2. Tyler Smith 3. Reginald Delk 4. Cromwell 5. Richard Delk Jamont is really underated. He is really the best of 05

Most of you guys on hear dont even know Jamont, He is no thug. He's just the normal teenage ball player in the inner-city. If you guys think henry is better then so be it. But the post is about their ability to play b-ball not whose the better person. Henry is a grade higher than Jamont, compare the stats to henry's and Jamonts from their sophmore years. Jamont is a better baller, jamont also hit 37 pts on stratford this year as a sophmore. I think he should be #1 sophmore. 1. has more skill than Tyler, and just as much athleticism. 2. has just as much skill as the Delks, but much more developed(body/strength wise). 3. has way more offense than Cromwell. You cant go wrong with the two, Jamont is more developed physically and more atheletic, but Harris has more skill and makes better decisions. I think Gordon may be better far as next level wise. [Edited by cdm2003 on 4-19-03 12:57A]

Thunder Central Midstate Ballerz Team TN Columbia Bullets(maybe) Thatz all i know of

The Zags play great together, they play real good zone defense and patient basketball. They have a couple of nice shooters also.

Its hard to compare the two because they are playing on two different levels of competition. But if it were me I'd pick Anthony because of his great leadership skills. To lead your team to the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME as a freshman you gotta have game. People doubt Lebron's game because on the level he's playing on, but he proved it to the world in the McDonald Classic last week playing against the best in his class and dominating. But you cant go wrong with the two, Lebron may be more athletic, but if you're down by 2 with 10 seconds left who would you rather give it to. Me Anthony. But again I haven't seen Lebron in those kind of situations, they blew out just about everyone they played.

He plays for the Thunder 17U

Tenn. Thunder 16U Elite Central beat Mt. Juliet Wolfpack by 20 pts. With Sanchez Eddins leading with 21pts, Trey Hobson with 12 pts, Domonique Martin with 11pts 6assist, Jay from Hunters Lane with 11 also. They had a slow start but after they found out what defense fits them best they became dominant in the 3rd quater leading by 30pts. They will play the TN Zags at 11:30 AM tomorrow, and the THunder East 16U will play at 2:00 tommorow.

Are you talking about EAstern Thunder or Thunder Central.

What happened to the 15U Midstate ballerz of last year. I dont remember them in the state I would like to see the Delks play.
