Brendon Murphey from Grace Academy...I don't know how many he ended up with but I think he had 13 with about 2 weeks left in the season.

CCS dominated LV during the regular season...as they did most of the teams they played. I say CCS will win again...but not as bad as they did in the regular season. I think LV will come out ready to play...but will still get beat by 3.

Does anyone else know who made it from their team?

Truefan get off of your high horse. You act as if we should be talkin about the state championship we won last year or something. All this trash talk about our team serves a big purpose and that is to get the other players fired up. There is no one on the team that actually thinks what they say on here. It is all in good fun and for laughs. Something to break the monotony of the past 2 years. Now when we go on and finish above .500 for the year then we will have something better to talk about. But until then this is all we have so just leave it alone.

There isn't a question of not loving the game on the Pirates team...if we didn't love the game we wouldn't stick with it...especially after the seasons like we have had the past 2 years. SP's problem isn't that we don't love the game or that we don't have the talent, it is just that we don't play as a team. We started getting better last year towards the end, but it was too late to make a charge at anything. Only chance we have is if we carry that same momentum over into this year, if we wait to let it come like we have the past 2 seasons it will be a long year for us.

I was wondering why no one from SP was on that list also. David Cagle - .450 BA, Led team in HR + RBI + SB Tyler Hampton - .320, 2nd in SB Ben Robinson - 12 K's per game average Michael Kilgore - 3rd on team in HR + SB, 1st in outfield assists Joey Lane - 2nd in HR + RBI I watched those HR's off Ben fly over my head from CF [Edited by SPBaseball20 on 11-7-02 5:47P]

I'be been playing against Valley for the past 3 years and they have improved every year. I don't look for them to struggle too much after loosing Carrick. Just take it easy on the Pirates this year...lol

Well I play for SP and that lil 9th ranking that we got from somebody is the funniest thing I've ever since...especially since it has us above Valley. Now I know that we were young last year and have some experience now but in all likely hood we will still stink. Gone are the glory day for the Pirates.
