Temple will have the edge playing at home.....When was the last time ANYONE from this region went and won in Chattanooga? Skogen and Teeter will be a great matchup, but Temple's other post is probably better inside than Skogen, not as good of a player, but he is very good inside and will give FCS problems. FCS will have to play a lot of zone. They will not be able to press Temple, to quick and they take care of the ball pretty good. Coach Bradshaw will not let them come out and play like that again....they will learn from what Pickett did with the two post I know Temple is favored and should win......BUT I am taking FCS in a shocker! Jacob Wright-Pickett has to MVP. He is top 10 in Midstate in scoring avg. Jackson Co. will probably get the MVP being first in the district, but no one really dominates for them. good team, not one great player

First the Carr guys shouldnt be reffing high school basketball, he is TERRIBLE! 2nd, I have never seen a ref give three tech's in 10 secs, looked like quick draw mrgraw out there. Heres what happened..... Jackson is up one with 3 or 4 minutes, point guard trys to make a pass out front Clay Co defender ties the ball up, should have been a jump ball(he called two jump balls earlier that no one was touching, and he called a walk on JC and no one had the ball to travel.) The player from CC said that was all ball and held his hands up and got stuck(probably deserved it, player shouldnt get to say anything). Edwards walks toward "Quick Draw" and has his thumbs pointing up and saying jump ball....not yelling or anything-FIRST TECHNICAL! Within 5-10 seconds, Edwards said(NOT YELLED) thats terrible it was a jump ball, thats bull crap(DIDNT CUSS), "Quick Draw" gives him his second and throws him out. Then he lets the kid that was fouled shot two, was not a shooting foul, and then 6 technical shots, they make 7 of 8 and are up 8 now without a coach!!! Game could have gone either way, the BIG MO was on Clay's side and the tempo was going Clay's way until all that. Was a great game up until that point. 29-29 at half

Get a clue! I watched him shake his hand. NO matter how coach Bibb acts or whatever, he has class and would never do that. Mad because they give the game way. For every foul they called on them they missed 2 fouls. Their point guard is a great player.....who isnt when you put your shoulder down and run over people, he had 3 charges. Thought the Sells kid did a good job on him holding him to 12 or 14.

Pcbobcats1, i know you are a fan, sports writer or whatever.....you question everything that the team does, if PC was 25-0, you would be questioning why the margin of victory is not larger? You make excuses and talk about the refs everytime someone beats Pickett. Are they playing great? No....Are they winning? they are beating who we are suppose to beat, with a couple good wins during the xmas break. You questioned the scheduling of the christmas tournaments???? They can play with those teams, but they have to bring their A game, showed it at times, but not for 32 minutes and that is what it takes for Pickett to beat a Sparta, Whitehaven, Shelbyville. If you call one player more depth, then I guess they are loaded with it!!!! Granted the players that got to play off the bench last year have another year of experience, but Sells is the only one that plays more than 1 minute that has any experience and add depth. Last time I checked district tournaments, region tournaments, sub-states are not won in December and January. As far as Muffin and the coach, you just like to argue about whatever....I promise you Coach Bibb at Pickett has forgotten more about basketball than youor PCbobcat1 will ever know!!!! Thats a fact!

Speed can be improved....I guess these schools are wasting money hiring strength coaches???? You can get in the weight room and get stronger, plyometrics will help with quickness. STRETCHING is probably one of the most important factors. Robb Rogers is very good at MTSU. Go to their website and click on athletics and go to strength and conditioning and drop him an email, he is pretty good at getting back to you and answering any questions you have. Their is also a couple of places in Nashville and Knoxville called D-1 Training, and other strength and conditioning places that will have all kinds of help. You can also go to the National Strength and Conditioning ######. www.nsca-lift.org, I believe you can find a C.S.C.S. profession in your area. Hope these help!

Temple is not going to Pickett because they are scared! New coach, dont want to lose afraid he cant live up to the hype! Temple is out of the playoffs....look like they forgot to take their starters to the game? Anyway, for Temple to cancel on Pickett is pretty sorry....It may cost them later in the year, looks like they would want to play some competition early

they better have $1200 to go out of county and then be prepared to sit out a year!

Good win for Clay last night against TCHS. 6-5 final!

Some of you guys hit the nail on the head! Steroids is about one thing, MAKING MONEY!!! More physical strength with appropriate stretching will increase bat speed, power, quickness, arm strength=BETTER BASEBALL PLAYER=BETTER NUMBERS=MORE MONEY! Most Juco's, NAIA, and other small schools can not afford to steroid testing because most all drug testing is very expensive. I know when I was in school, no NAIA teams tested. DIV-1 schools are tested randomly, but not there is so many ways to pass the test. The people that get caught in MLB now are idiots, because their are ways to get around the test, and they have the money to afford it. The ones that get caught are because they are careless. The problem with steriods is that these guys cant get enough, they stack them and combine them with each other, this is what causes the liver damage and weaker tendons. Most of these guys that tear tendons and complete muscle tears are usually players juicing. They tear tendons because their muscles get so big and strong so quick that the tendon can not keep up with them. Muscle tears are usually from muscle imbalance and lack of stretching.

First, you dont know what you are talking about. I have played at different levels and you gain respect for people you compete against. It does not matter if its you biggest rival or play them one time in four years. You gain respect for them. I promise you people from Bama want FLa to win out of conference, TN wants Auburn to win against Wisconsin.....IT makes you look better as a conference and it makes you team look better. It has nothing to do with your area or this or that, it has to do with RESPECT for teams/players you compete against.

He's 6'10" and weighs like 150 lbs!!!! He is tall and changes a lot of shots on defense, but he doesn't know where the paint is offensively! He can shoot the 3, but will only score about 4 points a night inside 6 foot of the basket.....he is the least of your worrys when playing Grace, they are very talented
