I do agree that LaVergne's outfield looks to be among the best, if not THE best! Question here is: why is everyone jumping Wushy about the comment about having coaches that actually care about LaVergne? He's not the one that made that comment, and he's DEFINITELY not hurting for playing time. Just a thought, but you may want to check who says something before you jump their case... And, LHSWRASSLIN - glad you're with us!
  2. im under moms screenname so it looks weird, dont it?
  3. lavergne beat shelbyville but lost to dickson co. thats all i know though since i play for lavergne n wasnt there for other games.
  4. I thought the LaVergne-Lebanon game was closer than 12-6, also. It was just a scrimmage, and that's the way LaVergne treated it. Changed pitchers every inning, just to see what they had. Also changed position players frequently.

Don't know about requirements, but Seals played for Ezell last year, just transferred this year. Doesn't that make him ineligible for Varsity?
  6. So, has anyone heard anything? I've heard of a couple of candidates, but not sure who is actually in the running. Has anybody got any more info? Mudcat?
  7. LaVergne was also out due to snow, but they practiced for close to 4 hours. Working hard to repeat as State Champs, and to show that Coach Reavis will continue to give everything he has to his team while he's with them! (And to prove that the boys will continue to give all they've got!!)
  8. I'm thinking the same thing... I've not seen it in the paper, and LaVergne's team has apparently not been told it's a done deal yet....
  9. Congratulations to Coach Reavis! We certainly hate to see him leave LaVergne, but at least we've got this year with him.... Who will that leave/throw in as front runner for LaVergne's opening? Any ideas out there?
  10. Yes, Congrats to all of Lavergne's team and coaching staff. Coach Treadway is on his way up to Coach Reavis' level! His middle-school (junior high) team went undefeated this year and won their county championship as well. Cedar Grove's sure going to miss him as coach and teacher. Best wishes for your future!
  11. Way to go Wolverines!! Glad you could bring home some hardware!!
