  1. so it was really 23-0 BA? how'd the running game look and the new kid Chris ___ (i forgot) from georgia?
  2. did he resign or was he fired?
  3. I didn't see a topic yet, so here we go.. A suprising loss last weekend by McCallie either makes them dangerous or destroys confidence coming into Brentwood. I'm going over Eagles 28 Tornadoes 14

    MUS-MBA

at this point in the season, and the scores so far, i think that mus has the upper hand this early in the season. mus has been suprisingly strong this year in my opinion. over the past 3-4 years, mba is always a little shaky in the beginning and always strong going into the playoffs. MUS 24-14.
  5. Unfortunately, JN is somehow tied to BA, and I for one apologize for that ignorance and low class (even though I don't 100% disagree with him, there are better ways to take our rivaled shots at MBA ) But to the game: I was able to catch a Shamrock scrimmage up here in Louisville, and have to say that they definately aren't the same team as we saw with Brohm. Their QB is Bobby Pitrino's son (UofL head football coach) but he is only about 5'8-5'9, but does have a pretty good arm. Their running back is a solid player, but I was suprised by how many decent to good runs their defense gave up. They do have a spread out defense to defend a spread offense, and this team was a wishbone, so that may work out better for the Shamrocks against MBA that the team they were scrimmaging against. I'd say MBA- 28-21
  6. The scrimmage looked good at times, but both teams also looked shaky at times. TC Jennings is by far the best player for Ravenwood, and in my opinion is going to have to carry them. Dylan Willaims runs it hard, but only gets the ball once every four plays. The Ravenwood defense wasn't impressive at all, in my opinion, and I was a little disapointed in Daniel Becker's play. He just didn't seem to do a whole lot. MBA definately has a young team, particularly the WR's, though they did make some nice catches. MBA's usually great mid-range passing game was overshadowed by the suprising deep ball by Howe to several different recievers. Their running game though, with Snyder looked somewhat better than the passing, which is typical of preseason. MBA's defense a suprisingly weaker than I expected, with TC Jennings breaking contain from the pocket at will and completing several passes on the MBA D. Overall, I think both teams will do well this season.
