Yep Peardon has mr football....by default of course. (still waiting on boyd to mail that to wooden)lol. Hey BnL, noone cares what boyd thinks or your outplayed runningback. He had his chance to do his talking on the field. He got shown up. Who's boyd's runningback? Noone noticed him friday...... Give up....go into hiding like the rest of the bucs and their fans.

so before the game, boyd people were saying "we'll see on friday who the best runningback in 1a is". But now that it's over, boyd says that it all shoudn't be based on that game at all. Big players step up in big games, whether he has a shoe on or not.......heck of a season wooden. You are the best player in 1A and you proved it...you are mine and many others mr football.

look, the only reason i'm making such a big deal out of this is because of what BOYD players have been mouthing off about in the papers. (chattagnooga times specifically) the boyd running back was quoted as saying that wooden wouldn't even be a factor. Wrong.........boyd is just a bunch of punks. I'm sorry if that's not true but that is what has been conveyed in the papers and after watching the game tonite. (i.e. Giving hand gestures to the dca fans at halftime) Give me a break.....

i have to agree especially in the playoffs, the trousdale and bga games in 96 were games to remember.....amazing games. Noone has been able to challenge dca like that this year.

excellent question so many similarities QB- very similar, rusty thompson better thrower but fenwick = better all around QB-----------edge 2004 team (fenwick) RB-Lyons vs Wooden, Lyons great back (MR Football) but Wooden is the best I've seen since Scooter edwards in 88( 2 time mr football winner) -------Edge 2004 team (Wooden) Line- 96 line very big and athletic, 2004 team big and agile. Edge-----Even Receivers- 96 had MJ Garrett and Mitch Hearne, 2004 Austin Garrett and Justin Hall. Both tremendous tandems at receiver but gotta go with 96 just barely-----Edge 96 The main point I see within both of these teams is heart and team unity. In 96 the guys were very close I see that even more this year. Overall the edge is to the 2004 team, i think, but you're comparing greatness with greatness.

Yes, half the dca people think wooden's better plus all the usj people and the mt pleasant people.....oh yeah and the wayne county and cpa and fra and davidson(not the crummy teams boyd plays)....need i go on? Peardon is like the Mark Byrd for this year.....the best player in the state..... LOL......SEE YA FRIDAY . Keep up the talking boyd, it will make it all the better for the wildcats.

How can I say Wooden easily? Well, very easily. I assume you haven't seen him play at full speed and are just basing it on what you saw in the championship game last year. Peardon runs upright and is not that fast or quick. Wooden runs low and does anything to keep from getting tackled (short of pulling a knife on you). Please don't tell me that the Boyd coach is on here defending the Mr Football awards b/c his player was nominated. Is CoachT really the place for coaches to be at this point in the year? Does anyone else think that's odd. Anyway, Baldcoach, the comments by everyone on here are legit. Mr Football is a sham this year. Wooden is the best RB in 1A---hands down. And he should be Mr Football easily. I like Boyd's coach defending his players but if I were him I'd be doing other stuff right now. Hint Hint.

I have read long enough....it's time for a reality check for all people. I have seen Boyd play once and DCA play 8 times. Here is the scoop on this championship game. Boyd is an EXCELLENT team.........(for their side of the bracket). After being at the last 2 DCA games, I believe they could compete(maybe not win but certainly compete) with any team in the state regardless of classification. They are that good. Best I've seen in 1A since CPA in 2000. DCA will get the ring, let me tell you why. 1. Boyd will not put up more than 10 on DCA's defense. Write it down. 2. DCA's offense will put up at least 24. Write it down. And Finally (3.) DCA has Chris Wooden. Not just Wooden, but a healthy wooden. He emerges in big games. Ask USJ. And at risk of ruffling feathers, I will state as fact that without injuries last year, DCA would be getting 2 in a row. Sorry Boyd, DCA is too strong, but you'll find out first hand. DCA 24 Boyd 7

wow....he's closer to lyon's mark than i thought. From what unbiased said, he's only 96 yards away....that will probably happen friday. Might have to be there then.
