It was a good game, but out there it didn't feel like McCallie wanted to be playing. They didn't have any kind of spark about them. Other than that it was a pretty good, physical game.

Actually Gabriel Luis was a playmaker at BA. In his career he had 7 carries for -22 yards. He's simply amazing.

McCallie has a good team. I've heard that their RB has beefed up a bit and is playing well. It will be another big DII game for BA. They better be prepared, but I think they will pull it out.

I agree I think Brentwood Academy has one of the most intense defenses in the state, yet judging from last nights big performance from CBHS's D-line, I think they are up there as well. Don't count MBA out at all either. DII is really well coached defensively.

Brentwood Academy's Defense brought it to CBHS all night. They were out there for 80 percent of the game. They didn't let up. You can't say that CBHS was more physical on only 1 snap. BA's defense held CBHS to less total offense than BA had and CBHS had the ball ALL the time.

I say the top 10 to 15 programs in the state join together to make the most competitive league. This could come close to solving the whole Public / Private battle. What do you think?
