BA could have beaten Centennial last night 40 to 0 had they not fumbled or lost a key injury on defense. Best of luck to Centennial though, they have many good players. They just need to tighten up their defense.

Come all you middle Tennesseers ! I think this will be one of the best match ups of the year. Many people think very highly of both of these teams. ( ranked 2 and 4 in the Tennesseans prep poll yesterday). It's at BA at 7:30 (Saturday). If you have nothing to do come out and watch a good game.

I agree with 705. BA is not taking this game lightly at all. It is clearly one of the toughest games they will play this year. Expect this to be one of the best week 0 games across the state. It will be a battle.

B.A Always you probably don't have a close enough look at the situation and don't understand what is happening right now. Coach Flatt is not a new coach. His decisions are based on experience. Wherever T Griff plays, he will make the best of it. You cannot play in a game thinking someone has a chance of injury carrying the ball. You may have not seen Tyler run before in a game, but honestly I will take him at Tailback over Ty and Ryan anyday. We weren't saying that Tyler would start at TB either. He will just go in for select plays and most likely excel.

Lemarcus Coker/ Patrick Turner.

Tyler playing quarterback is absolutely out of the question. We are looking to put him at his most valuable position. As for him being on the sideline for half the game, this won't happen. He will be playing a lot of TB and wide out. Coach Flatt is looking for players he trusts to make plays. He will get a lot of touches. Also we are trying to keep players fresh for defense. We intend on having the best defense in the state. To do this we will have a lot of guys going one way. In the scrimmage Tyler did not play a lot of offense because the coaches know what he can do on offense. He scored the first touchdown of BA's season his freshman year. There is no reason to risk an injury in a petty scrimage. Tyler won't play QB.

Concerning the scrimmage, I think someone should mention Tremayne Townsend's touchdown run. It was absolutely earned. He ran a sweep and absolutely broke the corner's ankles, then went on to out run the 2 safeties straight down the sideline. It was his only touch and was a real eye opener because he never really gets any reps in practice.

Word to that.

Are the rumors that fly around true? Does anyone know any details concerning Burns and Snyder and even a hurt D-lineman? I must find the truth!

BA scrimmages Dickson County on the 6th at home and Beech (at Beech) the following week. The Dickson County scrimmage is posted for 7 O'clock , I believe. It will be a good feeling to be under the lights again.
