After this weekend who knows where this team could be headed. Both senior captains, Zillon Porter and Micah Smith, went down with injuries. Porter, the quaterback and free safety, broke his non-throwing arm and had surgery on Saturday. More than likely out for the season but a possibilty of playing some down the road is still in the works. I'd say quaterbacking is probably out of the question. Smith, mr. whateveryouneed on offense and strong safety (leading tackler), went down with a knee injury and results are being awaited. Hopefully we will see him back on the field soon. Hate it for both of these boys who have worked so hard to keep a competitive nature intact on Old Hickory Blvd after the departure of Coach Paul Wade. Fellow senior Steven Davis will move over from reciever to take snaps at QB. Really hope to see Porter and Smith back out on the field because neither of them deserve to go out this way, really hate it for them.
