I know that football classes are different.... are you sure that's how it's going to be in all sports? Since they are already that way in basketball, but in seperate football classifications... It all confuses me.

GP stopped LC on the 20 to end the game... Congrats to GP, I believe this may have been one of the best games ever played... Seemed like all 3 Mr. Football finalists showed up ready to play. I'm sorry to my fellow Panthers, this was the year to do something great, we lost to a good GP team, no reason to hold your heads down. Good job guys.

Goodpasture lost to: Mcgavock(4-6) by 21, JPII(3-7) by 6, Lipscomb(11-0) by 19, and CPA (8-3) by 11.... now how bout those AMAZING teams they lost to... Lipscomb is the only legitimate team... CPA maybe is as good as LC, GP is not... LC by 12... look at the numbers people... If you think we can't stop speed to the outside, watch the game films...

Well i know when it was 34-0 Darshay Sparkman fumbled, and then they brought the 1st D back in and Jake had that Pick 6... Sparkman is JV....

I was doing some research on the opponents, and I don't see GP putting up a lot of points, and I also feel like LC won't put up a lot of points.... the Gameplan in this game, I would think is clock control... We haven't forgotten the game at GP a couple of years ago, I just hope the players this year have. GP is no where near what they were in 2006, and LC is better than they were.... I see LC winning 21-19 even if GP shows up to play ball... LC is just a better team in my opinion, THIS YEAR...

I never cut it down.... i was just saying that it doesnt hurt... and i don't disagree with them being 2A or anything like that... they are good, and they meet the requirements, and they are also one of the smaller 2A schools... especially next year...

Well Alcoa is an open zone district school, if i am not mistaken... which means anyone in that area may attend if they like... there isnt a certain group of people that have to go there, thats where the athletes go, and they do well.... no broken rules, just the way it is... and Alcoa should be #1 until they stop winning championships, i haven't seen anyone in 2A come very close... i remember 2006 when everyone thought Goodpasture would beat them since they were killing everyone... yeah, Alcoa showed up and brought them back down to earth...

For a team that only beat fairview 7-6, ya'll sure do have big heads... i hope your players don't reflect the same mental activity that you fans do. But then again, I guess that's why ya'll are the fans, and they are the players... Better hope the dawgs play better than they did vs. Fairview because it seems like if ya'll had SO much team speed, you may have put up better offensive numbers... It seems to me as if ya'll have had too many close calls for me to say Hickman Co. will win the game, let alone win BIG... Lewis Co. by 16

going by the common opponents, it looks as if Hickman Co. has had a lot of trouble scoring points against the easier teams in the region. If that same team shows up Friday night it will be a long night for the bulldogs. Im curious what the stats are looking like for the panthers, I live a pretty fair distance away and was wondering if anyone could help me out with the stats. I'll be there in Centerville Friday night, 700 mile drive to see my boys play, goodluck to both teams, better luck to Lewis Co.

I hate that Lewis lost to Hickman Co. I think They and Marshall Co. are the 2 best in this region... upsetting...

Goodpasture isn't a dominant team, they are very good, and i think they are in the right classification.... i went to a public school, and I can tell you that in the 1st 2 rounds Goodpasture had a tough time.... Hickman county didn't match up well with them because they only have 2 players that are dominant in the game... #2 on offense and #3 on Defense... Goodpasture exposed the weaknesses, and did the job.

I'm gonna say Stove gets quicker... they move him to guard, and paxton to tackle.... idk about the other guard though.... Mathis will be 1 LB along with the starting FB again.... The offense will be very good next year again. There will be a good defense too with the line being very good again, and the secondary with only losing 1... they should be almost as good, just not as fast overall, unless some guys get faster.

Congratulations to the players from Camden and Lewis Co. Perhaps next week we will see them both on the same field....

I do not care what team you are playing for, 1 player cannot win a game... Maybe Sowell is faster than EVERYONE on LC's team... Did that help anything the 1st meeting? NO.... I watched a kid a few years back that was FAST and from Giles County, he had like 300 yards on Lewis Co. and 3-4 TD's.... they still got beat by 21+.... I don't care how many yards Sowell has Friday night... WHO else do they have? I know it's not that punter that missed the ball the 1st game... haha... and who has the better special teams? Lewis Co. wins the game because they are a more COMPLETE team. Hickman Co. is a very good team. I congratulate them on their season. I'm glad this has become a rivalry, perhaps they can stay this way that way we have at least 1 competitive game during the regular season, because we know Sharp won't schedule anyone worth a crap because he wants that 10-0 record... which looks good on paper I might add. I'd like to see us go past the Quarters though at least one time in my young life. I think people would rather see that Championship ring than a 10-0 football on a Jacket, don't ya think?

If anyone recalls there was 1 touchdown scored that didn't come off of a Turnover. At the very end of the 4th quarter which team was marching down field like a freight train and ran the clock out instead of scoring again? The game should have been a little further apart... but let's take away the points off of Turnovers. Lewis Co. wins 7-0. In my opinion if there is a game that is 7-0, EITHER team could have pulled off the win. I'm anxious to see what result will come out of this game Friday. We all know how there are always 1 or 2 people everywhere that talk so much crap a sewer system couldn't hold it. No matter what there will only be 1 team remembered after this season, and it won't be either of these teams. Although I believe that the backfield for Lewis Co. is one of the best EVER for LC and the O-line is one of the WORST ever, although stats are decent against the poor teams. The only thing they lack is that O-line, and they are going to have that in the next year. If only they could have the lines we've had in the early part of the decade, but they still wouldn't be able to pass.
