  1. The next one is in 8th grade now. Has 3 older brothers that played and were major contributors to those great teams.
  2. So sorry to hear of these serious injuries. Doesn't matter which jersey they wear, always hate to see kids get hurt. Knew # 14 was serious the way he went down. Prayers for both young men. Great game. Tigers deserve praise for the effort. Good luck with the next 2 games. Really hope you take GP down.
  3. Will be worse if Jackets are hitting on all cylinders. Mercy rule could come early.
  4. Trousdale boys learned a lesson on how to fight back at DeKalb. They proved to their faithful fans they can be resilient and that they won't give up. Know that gold ball is several weeks away, but with the wins over 3a and 4a schools, these boys are beginning to believe they control their own destiny. That ball could become a reality.
  5. Harper Also has several TDs from returns and interceptions.
  6. Chill out Tiger man. Only reason G'ville is homecoming is its the last home game. TC only had 4 at home and this is last. No other motive.
  7. Never doubt the power of the Jackets on the Creekbank!!!! One of the most awesome high school games ever played. Congratulations to both teams for a hard-fought game. Every player gave his all and my Jackets were just good enough to prevail. For those who missed it, these games don't come around very often. Class act from both teams tonight, winning and losing with dignity. Can't wait for this one next year!
  8. What an awesome thread! Gonna be a sight to see on the Creekbank tonight. Regardless of who wins, (although I'm pulling hard for my Jackets) I hope we can all remember that these are teenagers living their dream and playing their hearts out. Praying for an injury free night for all involved. See ya on the Creekbank!
  9. Lots of opposing teams have seen the magic that happens on the Crrekbank in Trousdale County. When the entire town basically shuts down on Friday nights at 7:00, you know they love their high school football. Lots of available seating and parking makes it easy for visiting fans and the hometown crowd is unlike many others. One of the best things about small town high school football!
  10. OK Time for a thought or two. True, the Jackets had a HORRIBLE game at JAckson Co. And the trip to Greenwood wasn't pretty. The Macon Co. game was simply business as usual. This week there is a lot on the line. I have to believe that these good ol' boys from TC will feel a bit of pride and play to uphold the tradition. If Gordonsville is the better team, they will definitely have to play to show it. Should be a GREAT game. Hope all these doubting TC fans will show up and support these kids, win or lose. Bad mouthing them helps nothing. Countdown to kickoff begins! GO JACKETS!!!!!
  11. OK, once again the big game is approaching and I was hoping for some good-natured ribbing on here, but as usual it's turned NASTY. I'm shocked that anyone, especially if they are a parent or former player, could brag about sending a kid to the hospital. Totally without class. Also to specifically mention sending a particular kid to the sideline is in the same classless category. Although TC has had some incidents happen at the Creekbank, don't recall any of the afore mentioned events involving on-the-field players. Fans can ruin a lot of things and the coaches and team can't do anything about that. Every school has unruly fans. Come on, man!!!!!! Let's keep this about the game and not about pointing out kids. Never want to see any kid get hurt. By the way, Snoball, i see you still got the spunk you used to have. Keep it going!!!!
  12. OK. Just look at our rosters and see how many kids are playing exactly where their brothers, fathers, and uncles have played years before. Same names, same game. speaks for itself.
