1. Yes, because just about every one who plays basketball, now days wants to go to the NBA. 2.Yes 3.Academics 4.Yes, because athletes know if you cant make the grade, you cant play. So there is more of a motivation there. 5.Athletics 6.Because it is something for me to do. 7.Better chance because if you can put a ball through a hoop and succeed in it, you draw more attention. 8.losing the district championship 9. 2 hours study, 595 minutes (you figure the hours), sometimes more practicing. 10.ups: representing your school, having a chance to go to college, lets you get exercise, blowing other teams out, receiving congratulations on a good game from everyone. downs: traveling to road games, tired some mornings, memorizing plays, getting blown out, missing that last second shot that would have won the game.

Some refs just will not listen, or consult with other officials to see what happened in a situation where it is necessary. It should be ok to admit you're wrong. The problem with some refs are they just want to get the thing over with, get their check, and get out of the gym, but the officials who take the time to admit their wrong have gained alot better reputation around the league.

The Braves have made some very bad decisions that will affect their season this year. Money is one issue, but you have to keep your good players. The Braves will need a leader this coming year if their going to make it to the playoffs (which I hope they do, but I doubt).

It was a very sloppy game. I thought Loretto did a great job of keepin Tyler from dunkin, and gettin easy points. Tyler didnt really have his game, but the rest of giles co. stepped up. Loretto and giles both showed some poor sportsmanship, but giles the most. I cant wait until one of these days when giles plays somebody whos alot better than them, and they get smothered. probably a good example is ezell, or columbia. peace
