  1. The teams split in the regular season, so coin flip.
  2. Yes, I've taken pictures of 4 games so far, and have started my own small action photo selling service where I just go to the parents and ask them to buy. I sell them for $.50 and at $.22 to get them printed, I'm making enough to print more while giving the girls and boys some laughs. I'm starting to add some photos I've sold in the photo galleries. So far, I'm VERY pleased with the results. I talked to the guy from playeractionphotos.com and he uses the same exact lens we have coacht . That makes me really feel like we made the right choice because he sells his photos for $4.00 for a 4x6.
  3. Here is what The Times Daily has, which is what the offical score keeper for the game calls in: Clint Wright scored 13 points and pulled down 14 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to lead Loretto (7-11) past Giles County. Colin Stout also scored 13, and Zach McDonald followed with 12.
  4. For Sports: Don't use the sports setting unless you're outside. Put the camera on manual setting, where you can adjust the different settings. Set your ISO to 800, set your aperature as low of a number as it will go, set the white balance to tugsten light, and set the shutter speed to 320. If the court is well lit, go up to 500. If you're outside, the sports setting will work great. Hope this helps, and if you have anymore questions, just ask
  5. CoachT - Glad to see you got yours in! I can't wait to get my camera in. I can't wait to see some action shots too! That picture looks great.
  6. I feel he will make a guest appearance later on today.
  7. That's awesome coacht! I know a little bit about how all that works by my camera I have now has all the customizable controls on it, but I have a feeling it will take alot of playing around with it to get the right settings. Maybe we can get together at a ball game and we can both learn.
  8. I ordered the Canon Rebel XTI today with the 85 mm lens. I hope this will be the great camera and lens I've read about.
  9. Loretto won 1 out of 2 games in this tournament. It was a two game and done tourney where each team only played two games. Madison County defeated Loretto while Loretto defeated Columbia, Alabama. Don't have scores, sorry. By the way, the Madison County player is 7'0'' and is a transfer student from Africa.
  10. This lens looks very good, however is the zoom good, and does it maintain enough f/ to get the picturewhen zoomed in at its maximum?

  12. wet ball alert...very wet ball alert!
  13. Sorry for the delay, but I just now saw this topic. He suffered a very mild concussion. So mild, it didn't show up on the ct scan, he just felt like he got run over by a train. I think he's fine now.
  14. Oh, I dont see them...wait...i know what it is...im not plus anymore! expect payment soon!
  15. Would u like fries with that? I also have a question: where did private messages go??
  16. Just submitted some photos on all three games. Not a good variety as I was shooting from one spot all night, but it works.
  17. As far as I know, the games are still on for tonight. If I hear any different, I'll post first thing. One thing I plan to do tonight that I've never done is take photos of the opposing team's matches as well, simply for coacht. I would also like to see coacht make an appearance!
  18. That's a good drive from Eagleville, as I remember last year when we drove to Eagleville for region. I'll have the tunes going early tomorrow for all you early birds if Loretto's not flooded out by tomorrow.
  19. Summertown is a good team. They have that traditional Summertown never give up mentality, and they will battle to the end. Good luck to both teams.
  20. All I know is Loretto plays Eagleville at 6:15 p.m. So, that would be the second game I'm assuming, so Summertown and Page would play before that game, just not sure of the time yet.
