Pardon my error, Brunetti played one series to start the 3rd quarter...and I said most of the second half, I believe the clock started rolling 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter. Some eye-opening stats:

Germantown takes it on the chin once again...41 - 7 Sp Tigers rolled in Batesville...hopefully the Red Devils can bounce back and use this game to build on for the rest of the season.

Germantown takes on National powerhouse South Panola...last year the SP tigers thrashed the Red Devils 40-10 at Germantown. I'll be honest and say i dont expect a victory but i'm hoping for a much better showing this year. GO DEVILS!!!

Region 4 is by far the toughest..and has been so for awhile.

Germantown 39 Whitehaven 19 Can anyone offer some details about the game...can't say i thought Germantown would nearly hit 40 points against a Whitehaven squad that held Melrose to 10. Germantown most have found some offense or Whitehaven made a ton of mistakes.

I'm now many years and miles removed from my alma mater...the limited info i've gathered from the local paper has Germantown about equal to last years squad...so i'm expecting another defensive battle..hopefully with the Devils pulling out another close win.

They are tough...blew Germantown off the ball on almost every snap. USP vs Byrnes would be an awesome contrast of styles.

A better comparison would be NFL players per state. What do college teams have to do with a states overall high school football strength?

Your joking right?? Mississippi football as a whole is much stronger than Tennessee..the top teams from TN could compete pretty well but from top to bottom its not even close.
