  1. Congrats to Ridgeway on the win and good luck in the semi's.
  2. The Devils aren't the best in pass coverage and allowed 3 TD's by air in the first half. Germantown was able to run fairly well with Brewer gettin around 150 yards on the ground and in the second half the defense pulled it together and shut them out allowing for a late game winning field goal.
  3. Germantown Vs Ridgeway should be an outstanding game..heres a look at past common opponents. Germantown 24 Wooddale 21 -- Ridgeway 40 Wooddale 0 Germantown 37 Cordova 0 -- Ridgeway 21 Cordova 20 The contrast in styles should make for a close game...being the homer that i am GTOWN by 7.
  4. ??? Crawford is a quality RB but without a passing game the Wolves wont find much running room. Also i'd much rather come through the West bracket as the East is gonna be very tough once again.
  5. Thanks alot SP statman...best of luck to the Tigers on achieving a 3rd consecutive state title.
  6. South Panola 40 Germantown 10 SP Total yards- 508 Germantown Total yards- 210 Very tough night for the Devils...hopefully they can learn from the experience and put it to good use in the region games that lay ahead.
  7. This week is gonna be a tough one for Germantown...rarely are the Red Devils the smaller team on the field. South Panola has a combination of size and speed that you just dont see that often in Tennessee. I hope for a win but realistically I think SP wins by a fare margin...win or lose this game will help Germantown in the weeks to come.
  8. From the scoreboard i see Germantown has lost to Whitehaven 24-25...next friday might get ugly. Congrats to Whitehaven on the win.
  9. Anyone with updates please post away
  10. Next week Germantown plays Whitehaven...week 3 is the game against national powerhouse South Panola. Tough non-region games really help prepare a team for a deep playoff run.
  11. I see in the "Big Ones Poll" Germantown is the heavy favorite...not having seen either team play i think thats probably based on name recognition alone. JCM had a very good team last year and are returing a good number of players...that being said Germantown also returns almost the entire defense and a potent QB/RB combo from last season. I think we'll see a close game with Red Devils coming out on top. 24-14 DEVILS!1!!
  12. Most likely Houston by a bunch...but i'll be rooting for Bartlett.
  13. heres a few Memphis guys... Chris Mosby- CBHS- LB/TE offers from Arkansas, Kentucky, Memphis and Wake Forest. Cassius Vaughn- Memphis East- RB offers from Memphis, Ole Miss, Alabama and Oklahoma. Graig Cooper- Melrose- RB offers from Louisville, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Tennessee State and Vanderbilt. Jocques Crawford- Cordova- RB offers from Arkansas, Clemson, Louisville, Memphis, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, North Carolina and Northwestern.
  14. If it includes nothern Mississippi.. 1) Olive Branch 2) Melrose 3) MUS 4) Germantown 5) CBHS 6) Memphis East
  15. Bump..i would like to know also.

    Props

Carver has had some recent success but the outlook on those 4 games isnt good...the Mitchell game could be close...but the other 3 will dominate line play and i think will win going away.
  17. I checked the Borders in Knoxville...not here yet:(
  18. I'm thinking... 1- Germantown 2- Houston 3- Collierville 4- White Station
  19. Looks pretty good..but i thought MUS was losing a large portion of the starters from last year. I imagine Collierville will still be in mix aswell.
  20. Some games I'd love to see...Germantown Vs. Melrose Memphis East MUS MBA Briarcrest Gallatin Oak Ridge Maryville
  21. Some friendly smack talk from the Mississippi board... Hopefully Gtown can earn a little respect come fall.
  22. ughhh...I'd say thats the most memorable game for me also...though not the fondest.
  23. Germantown Red Devils: Tony Williams -University of Memphis- Vikings,Bengals and currently with the Jaguars. Mark Brown -Auburn- and currently with NY Jets. Cory Peterson -Ole Miss- 5th all time in receptions for the Rebels. Courtney Leavitt -South Carolina- All-USA Class of '95. Terrance Patterson -Harvard- 2nd all time in receptions for the Crimson.
