Fairview, just keep working and redeem this loss. You're better than the 15-14 loss to Giles suggests and you know it. Get on the practice field, work hard like you have been, learn from this loss, and be better for it. Only listen to the men in the locker room with you. The real season begins November 4th. dback33

From what I've heard, the tournament will not only be in Murfreesboro but also at surrounding areas..high schools(??not sure??) and somewhat local complexes will field all of the teams..if they have everything organized like they should...there will be enough quality fields to play on! besides...at Mike Rose in Memphis the fields aren't amazing(personally played state tourny games in club for 3 years) aside from the field the Championships are played on(which happens to be the University of Memphis' home game field)! So i'm sure they can find a proper place to play the Championships in the Mid-state! Granted, the Stadium in Mike Rose is a very nice facility, the only other advantage to Mike Rose is it's convenience, being all the games are in one place!

Any match-up you can come up with between Brentwood, Hendersonville, Farragut, and Bearden will not end up with anyone "rolling over" anyone!! That's absurb to even think! Any game between any four of those teams is going to be close, very close! Comparatively...all four teams faired pretty equaly against the similar opponents! How can you look past that? This year's tournament pool is too equaly matched for anyone to be "sure" a certain team will win! Don't count McMinn or Blackman out either! This year the talent is running very deep!

haha, yeah we ended up playing 3 down, and not because of cards! anyway...districts come first...then regionals..then sectionals...injuries have been a minor setback this season but i think things will be alright.

annnnnd also.....good luck to all the teams on that list...but even more so to the mid-state teams!!

I play for Fairview...we had a lot of players out for our game against Tullahoma. we had players out the entire week of the Tullahoma tournament. Including myself and a variety of starters. But I still gathered that you guys had a very effective offense.

Eurosportscoreboard shows a 6-3 win by CA. I'm not surprised if that is, in fact, the final. But does anyone have a summary or something like that of the game?

Brentwood is an all around GREAT TEAM! I agree completely...but what i gathered from both is that Tullahoma was slightly more effective on the offensive side..thats me making a judgement from what i witnessed in one game against each team. A LOT changes between the beginning of the season and now so my interpretation is likely much different than how things are now. thats all i was really sayin.
