Does anyone know when the drawing is for the matchups?

DB by 16?!?!?! I cant imagine it being that bad. I sure hope not. I think DB needs Edwards to be healthy and have a good output. He is a beast inside and I feel like he doesnt get enough chances when they play the hill. 1 on 1 coverage should be a green light to him

Well who wants to go on record with some picks? SH leads the season series 2-1 with a convincing win at SH being the most recent. I pull for SH but i am just not sure if they can beat a team so evenly matched 3 times in a row. I think CMO will have his team ready. I will say this will be a back and forth game with DB winning by 3. As for the nightcap I think District 1 will be represented well by Tenn High. I was impressed with them with their win vs DB. If they can play like that again they will move into the championship. TN High by 9. I ll take DB by 7 in the championship avenging their loss in the district.

Does anyone know the status of Jordan Edwards? Did he play vs Jeff County and is he going to play vs SH?

If I am Tennessee High than I couldnt be happier to have lost to SH. To be opposite of SH & DB is a blessing. Pencil Tenn High into the substate. Anything can happen but I would rather be on that side of the bracket.

Ill be a voice from JC. Toppers looked great last night and the beating was not what everyone expected I love the Hill but as far as Cutlip having CMO's number - I dont think so. SH is deeper than DB and had the huge advantage of playing in the palace. I would agree that dropping into a zone is the worst thing for SH to see. Zone never has been good to us.... Glad administration finally realized that playing at Freedom Hall is of no advantage for the toppers. SH played great last night and DB didnt come ready to handle it. With that said whats important is still to come and those games will be in the home of DB. The beating last night was good but by no means will it be that easy come district and regionals where HOPEFULLY these two will see each other again. I pull for SH but I want DB there too. Our region needs to be represented by the best teams from our region. Congrats to SH for another District Championship.

Well the game actually was at DB, not SH. SH fans were just louder b/c they had a 20pt lead at half. Yes they were loud and had their chants going but wouldnt the DB students done the same exact thing had they been the ones with the big lead? I think each student section is guilty of chanting things of that nature....JMO..... I am a SH fan first of all but i thought first half SH got all the calls - everything went their way. Second half DB got all the calls. A mysterious travel call on SH#33 i think at half court , Edwards "blocking" larry smith in the lane when got all arm. I think in the end the Refs were equally bad for both teams but as a whole Ref job i thought they were terrible...... With my gripes out of the way- WHAT A GAME!! Exciting highschool basketball at its best. An awesome gym to watch a game. loud students on BOTH sides. And some great athletes leaving it out on the court. I look forward to the rematch even though its at Freedom Hall which isnt much of a home court for SH at all

If I'm not mistaken it was the 2002 championship game that they beat SH. While they beat them without question I dont think it was an absolute beating. As far as the 2x5 vs 3x5 you got it. They ran in team after team. I can remember watching them thinking it was like a line change in hockey.

guess i am used to the glory days of SH being coached by pitts. SH doesnt seem to push the tempo as much as they use to. big man douglas was tired at times but SH couldnt take advantage. Never have seen a SH team hold the ball so much. oh wait, except that time against tenn high when they held it for a full overtime period....

MLREB....maryvilles coach was by far the better coach of the game....cutlip and the toppers didnt have a clue how to handle the zone and didnt get anything out of the press. slow the pace of the game down and SH will be beaten

To my understanding IMAC is DISTRICT 2AAA, while the big 9 is DISTRICT 1AAA. Both districts combined are considered REGION 1AAA.
