  1. MAJOR step forward tonight. Good things happen when you trap press, with Bell, Thomas, Hampton and Atkins we should have enough speed and depth to do this entire games. Terrence played hard tonight AND for the most part was under control. Big game from Chris Donald and Hillsman. I will even give some props to Morris. Xavier Webb is a MONSTER.
  2. This is a typical statement coming from the private school crowd. As long as a coach wasn't DIRECTLY involved it's ok? If a prominant booster does it it's ok? Everyone knows this is how it's done.
  3. Nobody is screaming for Bell's hide, we are screaming for the coaches hide.
  4. Bell is a good kid. He's too reckless and emotional on the court. That was a plus for him on the gridiron but you got to be in control on the hardwood. He has no coaching. With his speed he should be driving to the basket and looking to dish the ball if he doesn't have the open layup. I agree with the poster who said we need to be going inside with the ball. Hillsman is a monster inside( and the only player I've noticed who really seems to care) Kenneth you need to impose your will on this team.... and Chris Donald jumps out of the gym. Chris is playing timid on offense...he needs to be fed the ball in the low post to get him over this. Donald is a weapon even without scoring because he can control the glass. John Thomas is probably the best pure shooter that has been through HTown in a long time.....He just does it whether he's open or not. All this is indicative of coaching, I don't think anybody thinks we have bad kids.
  5. I agree Morris is a MORON. I will also say the refs last night were the worse I have seen in a long time, but good teams overcome that mess. I think I would have kept feeding the ball to Hillsman and Donald until I fouled out Bain. Camden is not a very good team without him on the floor. I told somebody last night when Huntingdon went on their run to go up that they would have to get up by at least 14 to be able to hold on for the win. A little more advice....quit the friggin dancing before the game...at this point ya'll have nothing to be cocky about. Bring Joe Dan Wooten out of retirement, he'd get those boys respect. YOWZA!!!!

Alberto Diaz Crockett County Player of the year Terrence Bell Coach of the year Mike Mansfield Freshman of the year Chris Donald Gimmee this team and I could win in any classification
  7. Kelcey Williams is the best back I have ever seen. westview had a back 6 or 7 years ago, Nick something....I think he quit his senior season, but he was tough.
  8. I think Lipscomb would go to 4A and Goodpasture to 3A. Not sure about Tyner.
  9. All in all I was pretty impressed with Baker and Crocker what little bit they got to play. They both throw a good ball it looks like. If Hampton is as good a QB as he is a DB he's got my vote though.
  10. I don't keep up with your program enough to name one player, I'm sure there are some people closer to the situation that could though. Here is the quotes from your website. It doesn't take a whole lot of smarts to figure out from this statement how you get the athletes. MBA Home - Admissions - Tuition and Financial Aid Tuition Costs and Financial Aid The cost of tuition for the 2003-2004 school year is $13,375. Other fees may apply. Payment plans are available as is Tuition Refund Insurance MBA offers financial based on demonstrated need. The school follows the financial aid guidelines established by the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) in determining need. Contact the Admission Office for application materials and additional information. It will cost approximately $17,800 to educate each MBA student this year. Tuition and fees cover only 69% of this cost. Through the generosity of parents, alumni, and friends, the Annual Fund and Endowment subsidize the cost of each boy's education. This year, Annual Fund dollars will cover over 12% of operating costs. This discussion really doesn't belong here and I'm done with it on this thread.
  11. Sorry, chief - everything Redtwin told you is true. Check out the MBA website. Call the school yourself. Saying it's "hogwash" only weakens any arguments you make. You can call it anything you want. Hey, if it makes you feel better believe whatever you want to believe. I was "recruited" to play baseball on a music scholarship......but I can't sing a lick. You can call a potato a turnip but it's still a potato.
  12. take all that hogwash you just said and blow it up somebody elses hind quarters. I know better....and so do you. By the way, you might want to take the advice you are giving out in your signature. ???? WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY?
  13. THEY ARE JUST STUPID. DAVID LIPSCOMB IS A PRIVATE SCHOOL AND THEY DON'T PLAY IN D2. D2 SCHOOLS GIVE SCHOLARSHIPS THAT IS WHY THEY ARE SEPERATED. PLEASE SHUT UP ITZME AND BIGBLAH YOU ARE EMBARRASING YOURSELF BIGTIME.
  14. YOU GOT THAT RIGHT. 10 OUT OF 10 EASILY. AND SO WOULD MILAN. LEWIS COUNTY WOULD BEAT THEM ABOUT 7 OUT OF 10. MCKENZIE WOULD BEAT THEM 6 OUT OF 10. CHESTER COUNTY WOULD BEAT THEM 5 OUT OF 10. MARK HOLTON YOU NEED TO WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE.
