This game was really closer than the score. With less than two minutes to go it was 32-29. DC was picked off on a screen play on 4th and 6, and it was housed. Next drive DC fumbled with less than a minute to go and it was housed. Antioch has some amazing athletes. #2 and #4 seemed to be on the same page offensively for antioch all night, hooking up for some amazing plays. DC turned the ball over 5 or 6 times, some of them just came from trying to do to much. Antioch stacked the box for the most part of the night and DC just gave them the business, stupid penalties and costly turnovers kept DC from advancing, but big props to both teams on a great game. Jus wanna say it was great watching the cougars play this year, and goodluck to the bears for the remainder of the playoffs.

Dickson is a much better team than what was shown at Indy. Or atleast offensively, defensively i watched NE chew up yards on the ground against DC. DC only showed dominance in their defense when NE got inside the 20. Bell being back does give them the option to pass now, rumor has it he will have his cast taken off in the middle of this week. Bell had two picks in the game against NE and almost housed one of them. Franklin will probably take a hint from INDY and put all 11 men in the box, if this happens and there aren't any changes made offensively to compensate i could see this one being a long night in DC.

The Cunningham boy that played at Northeast i believe is currently a walk on at UT Knoxville, and the Cunningham that plays at Austin Peay is in no relation that i know of. DC has a tough road ahead of them having to still play ravenwood franklin, and tonights game against NE. After coming off that horrible loss to Independence DC will look to destroy NE. I'm not taking anything away from Indy the pettigrew kid is a beast, and DC gave the ball up i think four times. 3 fumbles and an INT that was caught at the at the 1 yard line with DC going in. It seemed as if Primm was trying to do to much in that one. Good Luck to all teams playing tonight and everyone be safe on the road. DC wins big.

I'll take DC in this one. Not because they are a dominate team, but because they have a never say die attitude in them. Its contagious and it starts up front with there lineman. Not nearly as big or as strong in the past physically, but more courage and more heart than any i've seen. Steadman could possibly see limited action but its only a possibility. Greer and Wicker will be all over the field defensively and the wishbone will once again prevail in the passing era. Best of luck to both teams. Have fun on TV

Why is Bell out? Look for Primm to hook up with some new targets in this game, I'd like to see him and young sophmore TE Devin Guthrie hook up a few times in this one. Rayburn will run hard and DC will most likely run right at this great riverdale defense. I believe DC matches up a little better in the speed column than in the years past, I would say Jon Greer and Aaron Wicker two of the backers have big nights. Don't know much about riverdale this year but on a guess i'd say they have some playmakers all over the field. Them boys in blue and orange got alot of heart. If DC can hang around till the fourth quarter i'm givin this one to them in a slugfest. Good luck to both teams and stay healthy.

I honestly believe this will be DC's first big test. I'm not taking anything from them or the teams they have played but I think we all know none of those teams were as good as they have been in the past. DC has a great squad this year and returns alot of players. Their offensive line is solid and massive anchored by center James Barker. The running backs have complemented one another all season, David Brown with his aggressive power skills and Shane Rayburn with his elusive cuts and great vision. Jon Primm at qb has been phenominal this season just check his stats. With his go to guy Steadman Bell and the sneaky Deryk Collins always finding ways to get open. Their play action is amazing...so good columbia's official blew a play action pass dead because the running back was tackled...as he was going down the pass was caught 20 yards downfield and all whistled back. The defensive line is very good with ends AJ Bryant and Austin Evans weighing in over 250 and can move and Barker around 300 is a gap stuffer. LB/amazing Josh Jordan I would say leads that defense with his aggressive plays and just raw talent. The secondary is filled with skill Sophomore Cody McCallister has been a playmaker this season, I think him and bell combined they have 7 or 8 picks. With this years leadership and great coaching I do believe this will be a great game. I dont know much about riverdale, but the simple fact they are always good and always fast. DC plays keep away and causes two turnovers i think DC can win this one. I hope they get to expierience victory at Riverdale because I know from expierience its one of the best wins you can get. I wish the best to both teams, but i'm taking DC 36-29

I believe it will be a good scrimmage for both teams. Lavergne is fast. DC is big and tough every year. If DC has the same philosophy they have had since the school opened they will line down and run right at you. DC has i believe 7 returning starters from last season on defense. The whole secondary and 3 defensive lineman. I don't know much about the offensive players that are coming back. Should be a tough one though if DC's secondary holds up. I wish both teams the best of luck and pray for no injuries. I hope to be in attendance.

Word through the grapevine down in DC is that they will be heading to Lavergne on May 18th for a little scrimmage game. Any thoughts or comments please feel free to let me hear.

James Barker out of Dickson County

From Dickson County James Barker 6'4 295 Dont know stats. People will hear and see more of him this year. He dominated most all offensive lineman last season. I will try and get some stats on him for a further update.

James Barker a huge kid from DC. He is 6'3 300lbs benches near 300 and squats near 400. Hes a monster.

Probably shouldn't be making a post b/c i normally get in trouble . Coach Williams from DC is leaving to go coach at David Lipscomb. Witch means.....I'm almost 100% sure that coach Bledsoe will be taking over in DC. Coach Williams was a great coach and a great role model. I learned alot from him. He will always be a COUGAR tho. Dickson County is gonna miss him. Good Luck Coach!!!
