Both these teams have good defenses for Single A football..........I believe they will be able to stop each others strenghs in the running game.....i wouldnt be suprised if this game is won by special teams or a pass when the defense is not expecting it..........tight low scoring game Cwood 20 Mt.Pleasant 14 or could be the other way

I dont say much but ill say this yes cwoods team last year was better than this year i dont even know why your comparing them, we would have a field day on your secondary, Jacob would run all on you...........defensively we would put 8 in the box to stop ur boring 1940 style wing T , if you tried to pass good luck we had the best secondary in the region.......they may be have a better record this year but come on give me a break this region is weak i mean weak compared to the past, if we played this years teams last year it would be just like last years zion christian game 42 points in the 1st quater STATE RECORD.........So gimme a break about the comparison...............I do hope the best for trojans and they will bring the GOLD BALL BACK WERE IT BELONGS!!!!!!

from what i hear turnovers cost LC the game. 3 of them. the cats wont be so lucky when they come to the wood.

Friday night was a tough loss for the Trojans, from the looks of it the trojans had a decent running game, but a rough looking passing game. Dixon ran the ball extremly well, but that was all, i didnt notice anything else that stood out. The defense looked good at times especially in the redzone were they made some big stops. The defensive line played good at times and at others looked like they didnt know what they were doing, didnt see much either from the secondary they got burned almost every passing play by a team that hardly even throws the ball. Pretty much what im sayin is that they looked inconsistant, maybe they will get all that fixed come the region games, cause if not there goin be trouble ahead for the trojan team. I noticed some of the younger key players missing from last year that contributed to the team alot, whats up with that ?

I believe that this summer that most of the Collinwood team will play American Legion ball. This will be great for them since they have not played together before and the traveling ball that yall are talking about with Collinwood and Summertown players was 3 or 4 years ago when they was 12.

Great game Collinwood with the win over Columbia Academy. Adam Stooksberry pitched a terrific game but what helped them the most was the executing at the plate the bunts layed down is what won that game. Congratulations Cwood 2nd place behind Mt. Pleaseant.

Hey Dr. Diamond was you at the Collinwood Mt. Pleasant. The starting pitcher was Bryant. If his elbow wasnt sore going into that game it would have been a lot better game. He wasnt able to throw as hard as he usually does even though he was still humming it pretty good and his braking ball was a hanging a little. I would about bet if you faced him when hes 100% he could hold yall in check i dont know if they could beat yall now but he would make the game a lot better. I just hope his elbow gets better soon were he can pitch again soon.

It would be hard to beat Stooksberry and Bryant. They are some of the hardest throwers in the district and they have got two of the sickest curve balls you will ever see. If you dont believe ask anyone from Perry Co. or Waynesboro.

I don't know bout C.A.'s pitching but I know for a fact Collinwood has two good sophmore pitchers in Adam Stooksberry and Derrick Bryant. It would be hard to find any two pitchers at there age better than them.

I know Summertown has a strong set of sophmores, like Benji said I too believe Collinwood and Summertown will be the team to beat in the future. Mt.Pleasant also has some good sohpmores that are good, as for C.A. I dont believe there sophmores is as strong as the other 3 up there. They maybe but from what ive seen they aint there. Could be wrong.
