so is the Lipscomb game the only time you have seen ezell play, because that is what it sounds like based on some of your previous comments

I realize financial aid is allowed. That is why they are DII. I'm not arguing that, but Batts I dont know why you bring up "this guys dad" and so forth. I'n not saying that they got a car or anything illegal. I'm just saying that they do recruit. I know for a fact because I have known some of these guys that got recruited since I was 10 and 11 years old. So I know what happens and I know the "vital info"

BA should win another state title. Barring injury, they are the best team in DII. And every time we talk about BA, we get in to the argument about recruiting. They don't technically "recruit" but they do give financial aid if you are good at a sport and they want you. They give financial aid for other reasons but they do "recruit" if you want to call it that. And yall at BA can say you dont but I know you do because I have specific friends that were "recruited" to go there and play. So there, no more recruit talk. BA should win another title.

They are well coached so they will be fine. They should make a run at the district title, barring injury. Not saying they will win it, but will be up there and will make some noise. What they get from the post will be the key to their season and how well they do, because Duke and Carl are going to get their points. And hotdog, they were final 4 in state last year, that isnt going downhill if you ask me.

Ezell also killed Station Camp even though 3 or 4 of their starters were put on the bench because of foul trouble in the first quarter. I think a lot of teams could beat Station Camp. I think it will be a good game though.

Personally, I think Ezell will win. They are both great teams, but I think Ezell will pull it out.

I don't know why everybody thinks that Lipscomb is going to take the District. I can't wait until Ezell beats them and shows up all of the people who think that.

What makes you think that?

They are undefeated so far. They have only played 6 games, but wins over Forrest, Gordonsville, and Oakland. Pretty impresive compared to their 14-14 last year.

First off Jamont should be in the All-American game. That is a shame, but if you look at the last few TN players to play in this game (David Harrison and Corey Brewer) they didn't do anything. I think Brewer had 2 points and Harrison was the only player in the game that didn't score. I heard that Jamont stopped in to Knoxville to meet with Coach Pearl. I hope that meeting went well. I think he would be a good fit in the running system Pearl wants to put in. Him and Tyler would be a killer combo on the fastbreak. I think Jamont should go to UT. He would play immediately and help a team that really needs it.

I think Bruce Pearl is an excellent choice. His record over 13 years is 317-84. I think he was the best man for the job (except I wish they had given Bob Huggins a chance but with his DUI and low graduation rate they said no thanks when he called). As for the UAB coach, I am not impressed.He won a few games in the tourney beating Kentucky last year (so did Kevin O'Neill, and we know where he took the program). UAB had not beaten a team with an RPI rating higher than 50 all year until the tourney. They had also lost I believe 4 games to teams with an RPI lower than 100. He will win a few games but overall I don't think he would be a good fit. And this program needs players regardless of the coach. They have Lofton and Watson is ok. Wingate showed flashes of being an SEC player but everyone else is awful. Hendrix is on of the worst players I have ever seen along with Dane Bradshaw. Tyler will certainly help and Jamont(if he comes) will definetely contribute as well. Good luck to Bruce, I think you will be good.

Ezell will win this game and state. Every game Ezell is picked to lose and what happens...they win. Nothing changes in this case. Ezell wins again and then will win state. Everyone says that they were not impressed. How can you not be impressed by a team that was down 24 to 9 or whatever it was and came back and won. I guess yall want a blowout, well it aint gonna happen but Ezell will win.

None of you guys thought Ezell would make it this far so when they win tomorrow I'm sure you guys will pick them to lose in the championship. And then when they win the championship you guys will say it was luck. Oh well Ezell will take home the gold ball. Trust me on this one.

Ezell will win state. They will send Middleton back to West TN crying and then will take the gold ball on Saturday.

acmoney obviously you are confused. A common opponent is a team that both teams have played. Not this team beat this team which then beat that team so they should win. Middleton is a good team, I'll give you that,but Ezell will win. As long as Ezell plays tough D and continues its scrappy play they will win. They also have the best student section by far. Ezell wins by 2.
