Thanks Chill!! It didn't take me long.I just wanted to make sure my legend still lived on Coacht. And it makes me feel good that you remember my boys too!!! I'll see you again in a few prob not 10. So its been a lot of years since I have been on here.But I thought the best thing I saw last nite was CAK coach relaying a really loud and strong message to his players that you cant play with those guys so we will just stand here while we are behind by 8 and Bowden is in foul trouble so we don't get blown out.Message received coach your team never competed after that.Good call coach B let em stand there when you've got the lead.Go Hornets lets get a home game!!!!!!

Fulton is such a tight knit beautiful community with all the scenic subdivisions and such. And all those future college athletes growing up playing touch and one on one. I bet the snow in the trees is athing of beauty today!!!

Hmmmm still no interest. Man I remember before post 11 era you could fill this thing up talking about Carter Football.Have the Hornets become back page news????

Where is the Hornets in all these passing leagues?? Are we doing it in secrecy? We have 2 capable QBs would this not be good practice?? Is 3rd year of life after 11 going to be any better??

Well its the guy who likes to refer to the current era at the nest as the life after 11 years.Just give me a little explanation.As I was looking at the prep extra stats this week I noticed that Carter had 3 or 4 players in the top 20 or so in tackles.Is this D not giving up about 50 or so a game? When are we tackling them on the way to the bus after the game? 2 years into this era not so good.

Carter fans wont be posting.Take all the shots you want to.

I guess I enjoy talking to myself.I thought since, as you guys like to refer to them The Stanton Boys were gone,I could go watch Carter and leave in good spirits regardless of what I witnessed.Did I see once again we get mad and use a TO with the clock running out at the end of the 1st Qtr YES I DID,did I see with 2:09 remaining in the game and Hardin Valley facing a must onside kick situation Carter put 4 guys no hands guys on the front line (man if they kicked it deep we were ready)YES I DID,and did I see Hardin Valley lining up a kicker that had just missed an extra point to win the game getting ready to go for the tie and Carter calling TO to say hey are you sure you shouldn't go for 2 here(which they did decide to do and won)YES I DID. And did I see players laying on the field after 6 straight plays alowing HV to drive while using no TO's to cut Carter's lead in the 4th(if your hurt stay down if you got a cramp and you need the clock to run get to sideline and lay down) YES I DID.Hey its only a high school football game. And the good thing about the Stanton Boys being gone is don't have to go.The kids deserve better than what they got Friday nite, but I've been saying that for sometime now and I got over it a whole lot quicker last night.But finding ways to pull defeat out of the jaws of victory is something I hope never get used to.As I said after this game last year this is SAD.

Well I guess anything to talk about has left the bldg.Thats sad!!!!!!

Edge,Chill and Wingman the last I checked the Stanton boys are in the history books of Carter High they cant get no more W's for the Green Machine.Has the the Hornets nothing going on that we can talk about in the present.Heck the jamboree write-up was about the basketball team.Give some info on this years team I know what happened when the Stanton's were playing its all over my walls and in my trophy cases at home.How are we going to do this year? Give me something I can watch for on Friday nite is the QB Kirkland or does Oglesby get a shot this year? Can we get the ball to the BBallers?Who is the Runningbacks? Come on lets look forward not back can we get more wins this year than last?

Adding Bennett and Ballinger cant hurt the cause both are good athletes. A few years back we added a guy named Lance Thompson(state champ in the 200)we thought we could just put him in run down the field and wahla TD's not the case we need to set these guys up.And as for the info on scrimmages I now understand Cherokee-Happy Valley-Cocke County not much info here I heard Harlan Ky. was looking.See you at Hardin Valley we are already in their history books for 1st victory ever, man that was bad.Go Hornets.

Man talk about under the radar!!! All scrimmages listed in paper I don't see the Green Machine listed??? And heard a guy from CAK talking about getting put in this tougher claasification and he said with teams like GP and some others but no mention of my beloved Hornets. Isn't this the same program that just a few years back went years in a row without a district loss? Is it that life after 11 thing I spoke of last year?(Next one just starting kindergarten we can't wait that long good group starting to come thru now) Somebody give an update scrimmage dates or something.

Well I'm kind of like Old Turtle I haven't been on here in so long but I have to weigh in on this one.Pryor had to be handcuffed at Fulton last year after some little kid from Carter put up 18 in the 4th to send the #1 ranked Roadrunners to the house.Seems as though he thought it was some window in the locker rooms fault when it was actually that #11 not the window that sent you home. Bottom line is this kid should have been let go last year.Was it just coincidence that his first game this year was at Carter.Coach Mitchell has to ultimately be responsible for his team and next in line is the AD and then the administration.Is this what a MAGNET school is supposed to be??? There is just NO EXCUSE for this AE athletics is quickly becoming a JOKE.
