    I'm BACK

Glad to see that Forrest Baseball is still alive and well. I miss jousting with the folks at Cornersville and Eagleville.Chasing the college season is quite gruling. Did Bud Miller go on and play somewhere?Sorry to here about Robert Woliver. any other updates on last years sr that went on to play would be appreciated. One thing to say to Jeremy Lamb, be patient at the plate and use your head, that is from ROCK HARD.
  4. Well I'm glad for the rockets, they are doing great and it could'nt happen to a better bunch of young men. Last year was a very trying year so they should be able to handle anything. GO ROCKETS YOU ARE STILL ON MY MIND, CHAPEL HILL was a great place for #32 to finish his sr. year.

    Post19

Post 19 had their first games Thur. nite and split with the Nashville Yankees. Post won the first game 4-2 behind the pitching of Bart Joyce and the hitting of Ross Myers and Jarred Imgram. the score was 5-4 in the second game. Myers was 5 for 7 with 3 rbi's and two stolen bases and a walk. Ingram went 4-8 and had 2 rbi's a two stolen bases. Joycepitched 5 strong innings in the first game allowing only 2 hits and stricking out 6.
  8. Does anybody know when they will announce the all region teams for 1a?
  9. Camper I don't know who you are but i have to agree that ind. stats are not important, but i must also add that this year we had team unity. Nobody on this team was for themselves, you had to be at every game i guess to know that. As for them losing to Cornersville and the first round of the playoff,s that's why we play the games. as for prev. years at Forrest i have no idea, but it seems to me that you need to get complete info before you start talking out your a--!
  10. he was the leadoff hitter and played centerfield
  11. I Will be the first to admit that we faltered when it mattered the most, but it is hard to beat a team 4 times in a row no matter who they are, the Rockets have no excuse this time, we played lousey could not get a hit when we needed it and by leaving 12 men on base and making errors at critical times we did not deserve to win. But all in all 26 wins in a season is great but to have it end this way is very dishearting. This was our only year at Forrest and we enjoyed it very much. This web site is fun for spicey conversation and supporting your teams. Best of luck to the remaing teams from 11a , I hope sommeone from this district goes all the way. maybe we will see some of you next year at a college game, we are going to decide what school #12 will attend next week.
  12. The rockets take on Moore Co. Sat. at 1:30 in Winchester at Tomahawk Stadium. The game will be broadcast on WJJM starting around 1:20. GO ROCKETS, ONE STEP AT A TIME.
  13. We read it when it was 8-5 Forrest favor the same nite. A win is win and a loss is a loss. The score does not matter. See Sat.
  14. Remember 8-5 you lost also, until we meet once more.
  15. Forrest Rockets 26-10 overall 13-3 tied for first in district 11A
