Calls were missed both ways ! Didn't decide the game. The margin was 12 points!

You know, I've thought alot about that lately. I hope he doesn't, but with his son's coaching, I can see him relaxing watching them. Also, enjoying those grand babies!

Well, Mitch Wilkins may have something to say about that!!! lol! These are 2 great programs. I enjoy every time we play each other. They both represent West Tennessee girls basketball very well!

Here come the excuses. 12 point margin my friend! That's not refs. That's one team that was not going to loose! Loretto has nothing to be ashamed of. It was a great game. Don't blame officiating. Two teams playing their hearts out! Congratulations Loretto and Gibson County for providing us fans with a great game!

Agreed. We have had some great games between the 2. I've been following it for 20 plus years! It helps both teams.

Between Westview and Gibson County they have been about 35 times between the two. Pretty amazing because they play each other and for the most part from the same District. IMO the toughest district in the state of Tennessee.

I'm not so sure about us and Clarkrange. Clarkrange yes. We are loosing Neal, Sweat, Bass,Amy Lee and Hunt. All who played

Didn't realize Loretto and other schools did that for Macy. Pretty cool that Chloe's dad called her! He's teaching his daughter what's important in life. Good for him! That proves there's still good people in this world! The world needs more of that. Because right now, there's a lot of hate and divisiveness in this Country. It's only a game if you think about it......but I sure like winning! Just found out Coach Trevathan sent Macy Neal a letter after she had season ending surgery. What class! She is a great girl. We kinda adopted that whole family my wife and I did. Their just good folks! I appreciated what you guys did for her at the last home game we played you guys. I do the announcing for GC ,have for years. Greenfield gave her a loud cheer and standing ovation. Maybe Greenfield isn't that bad after all... lol! Class act though from your coach and team . Come down and holler at me if we play you guys at home. Would like to meet you

I'm not sure what needs to be done. All final 4 teams get a trophy similar to the Gold ball that shows "final 4"??? Or each of the 12 teams left get a Gold Ball? On the other hand Greenfieldfan has a point. They are undefeated and would have a good chance to win it all ( they obviously are the favorites). So why should they have to share anything since they worked for it? Not saying other teams didn't put in the work, because I know they did. For sure GC.. I cant really think of a scenario that would suit everyone. They do need to do something though for the teams left. I'm glad I dont have to make the decision. They did beat us twice and Loretto once. What to do about Clarkrange? Did they play during the summer? FYI...Just found out Nashville is either closing bars and restaurants or limiting attendance.

I had to take a day off without pay. Pioneer42 you know where I work...on the South side of the county as a Work Based Learning Specialist. It for sure don't pay much either! So I lost my measly salary for that day and spent a lot of $$ to make this trip. The TSSAA surely will come up with a viable option that's fair for the 4 teams that are left in Single A.

It's a sad situation. Girls have spent months if not years to get an opportunity like this and for the TSSAA to jump the gun so quickly is beyond me. Hotels , restaurants and shopping malls are all open and to me there is a better chance to contract Coronavirus in those places. But what do I know, I'm just an old high school basketball fan that looks forward to this time of the year all my life. This is worse than the year when GC made it undefeated. Played the first round against Livingston Academy (I think) and got beat and went home. Best I remember, they had a girl with the last name "Hawhee" or something like that. I got so tired of hearing her name called I almost threw up.

I don't see that happening. You can't determine a state champion based on past results during the regular season. Surely, they aren't going to for something like that. Based on that reasoning,they would have to open up to all 3 classifications. I wouldn't think all 12 teams would agree with that. Thats assuming they got all the semis played. I may be wrong, but with the T$$AA, it wouldnt suprise me.

Yep. Your right! I was at that game. It was a close game best I remember. I kinda miss those Westview/GC matchups. That's why I said in my previous post. Westview was without one of their key players, so I don't put much thought into that win. Would be like us playing Westview in the days of Paige Duncan or Tiffany Atkins out of the game!

Agreed. I remember those Bradford/Clarkrange games from years past. Clarkrange has always been in the mix. What type of feeder system do they have as far Elementary and Middle School?
