You say the schedule is better this year...does that mean tougher than last season or not as tough? I think it looks pretty difficult since Franklin County and Coffee County are improved from recent history.

This is one of the silliest threads I've seen on this website. The TSSAA didn't create the classification system for arbitrary reasons. There is a purpose for the classifications. I find humor in you all justifying your argument by saying your school beat a larger one last year. If you all want to be respected throughout the state as one of the "big boys," move up to 5a, no one is stopping you. Simply put, smaller schools cannot compete with the top large schools on a consistent basis.

He's a player that is ranked as a top 10 player nationally at his position by nearly every recruiting service in the country and has the offers from high profile schools to back it up. The kicker is that he has had many of these offers since he was 15 years old. I guess he got an invite to the elite 11 QB camp (held across the country from where he plays) because many sources are saying he's overrated. Your comment humors me. Just stick to scouting the talent in Wartburg.

Yes, I called Columbia hot since they had won 8 of their past 10 and beat a 22-6 Franklin (at FHS) team last week. 8-AAA is unusually underrated and will prove that in the region tournament. Shelbyville and Lawrence County will be in the ‘boro when it counts once again. I hear a train coming........

Lawrence County is dangerous. If you ask the Warriors (85 and 90), they don't hold a chance against 7-AAA. I think LC is on a roll and as dangerous as anyone in Middle TN except Shelbyville. You guys may or may not remember me calling this in November. I still believe Lawrence County will be one of the last teams standing. I guess there is little reason to argue since we will see very soon! (I am not a Lawrence County fan but I have great respect for the program)
