Oh My bad.Probably shouldn't have said Travis Tritt and Luke Bryan's name on here.

Boyettes for sure.Tenn Magazine picked it as best eating place in West Tenn and people from all over come to eat there.Travis Tritt was there recently and Luke Bryan comes every once in awhile when he's in Lake Co area hunting as he owns land here.

Not football related but good luck to Gibson Co and Dyersburg girls at State Tournament.Especislky to my pal,Coach Tim Strayhorn.

And also,yes I'm passionate about LC sports.Somerimes I get heated.Sometimes it's just in fun.I go after West Carroll a lot but mostly just for fun and try to get threads started.Same with Dyersburg and Union City.I know they are very good programs but like stirring the pot.

From what I see on here,it happens everywhere if a team is losing.It even happens at lots of places when teams are winning 8 to 9 games every year.Heck,Hall of Fame coach Bobby Sharp was always wanted to be fired when he was at Lewis Co.So it's not just at Lake Co.People are passionate about football at LC being a small school and community.I am about basketball also.I was at all the games .Saw some of the play calling.I know some plays will and won't work.But some were just stupid.Things like going for it on a 4th and 5 and on your own 30 yard line.I know LC didn't have maybe best punter and maybe Short wasn't behind all those decisions.I hope Coach Short does well.Think LC will do ok this year.Not great but hope they do.Think it's going to be Union City and South Fulton but could be wrong.But I know LC will be top ten in a couple to 3 teams with all the young talent coming up barring any unforseen situations.

Doesn't matter.LC named their head coach.

Hunter Short was named head coach.Hopefully he will do well.Was hoping LC wouldn't stay in house with the coaches they had at the high school.Saw some pretty bad play calling last year and one that stands out was LC going for first down on about 4th and 23 and not at midfield and wasn't because game was on the line at that time.Congrats to him though and hopefully he does well.

Don't know what's so funny.Milan is losing a coach to Lexington.Milsn isn't the team of yesteryears.Beat 7 nobody's and be ranked.And Dyersburg had good years past 2 years.The LC state championship team beat teams Dyersburg lost to so the sun does shine on what's that old saying.Better not say.Can remember years ago,Dyersburg and LC would scrimmage every year.LC had their way.Dyersburg district attorney at the team came to all the LC games for several years.I expect Dyersburg to win this year.Hope I'm around and they still playing in about 3 years

Well I'm hearing interviews wrapped up today.Someone from Lauderdale So I heard.May not be true.So I'd better not say which school to not upset some people.Id still bet it's Ronnie Lanier.And doubt he's worried about being run off.Hes lived here about 30 years.

I agree with you on this one.When Milan,Dyersburg,Even Dresden and Alcoa a few years ago Names were dropped.Shouldnt applied.

Don't know or guess it would affect his present job at the moment but I'd be willing to bet it's Ronnie Lanier who has been in LC many years.Lots of talent coming up from middle school next few years ,including his son.So he knows all these kids and has house here so pretty sure he's not going to leave ,even if successful.

I agree.Hate just giving the job to a young guy or a young coach cause his Dad has been a coach a long time.

I hope they hire from outside ,not promote within the program.

I hope so.With both win or lose.Was really just talking to get easy wins like others schools.

Forrest must pay really well.Cant see why a coach would leave a bigger school for a smaller school unless lit more money or maybe from that area

I think schedules are set for next year.After that,hope LC drops Dyersburg,TCA,Union City unless goes to AA,and Central.Add Fulton Co ,Fulton City,.maybe Perry Co.,Middleton even if longer travel.Or keep Union City and Central and pick up Ky schools not far away.Hopefulky get those easy wins like others.

Doesn't matter really.Like some other teams,will play 4 or 5 nobody's at beginning of the year to get ranked and then play tougher teams like Colorado did this year.Yes LC will lose to UC next year,Dyersburg,TCA,Maybe even Central and SF and Dresden.Dont know.But some teams feel so great winning 5 easy games then lose a couple tough games.But to some,easy wins count more.But look where it got Florida St.

Losing a ton of your talking about stud running back.Not in numbers.Think LC only has 4 seniors.

I may be wrong but think South Fulton is going to surprise some people.
