Mt Pleasant no doubt has some great athletes and play makers. I think when LC played them, it was our best defensive effort of the year. However, I do not think MP’s defense can slow down the powerful running game of RS. LC rush for 350 yds against MP so RS could top 400. If RS contains a Mount Pleasant’s offense this game will get out of hand.

LC is very balanced on offense with the run and pass as I have ever seen them. On defense they are very aggressive and physical and really hasn’t had a bad defensive game this year. As far as what they run it’s basically the same as last year. I’m probably not the best guy to break down all of the X’s and O’s. LC may be better than they were last year at this point.

They should have had a 10 team region in Memphis. 3 of the teams have a winning record this year.

I would guarantee you that he has put that team in front of his entire family many times with the success that he has had. I would assume that he would get the benefit of the doubt given his accomplishments while at Oakland

Could say the same about Waverly since we had 10 for over 100 yards last night and the home team Only had five.. Not saying we didn’t earn them but……

Good win on the road LC . I thought they would win, didn’t see the blowout coming. Holding Waverly to less than 100 rushing was a good feat.

It works. I have done to one poster only. The only thing is you can see their post if somebody responds to them. I wish there was a way to keep somebody from posting on a topic that you start. That way you could actually have discussions without the same poster taking it over and making the same old negative comments. I like a little bantering back-and-forth as much as the next guy, but this one person has a negative agenda.

This is almost turning into my dad can beat up your dad discussion.

Don’t forget that Lewis and Page has actually played 22 times on the field (not on message boards) and Lewis has won on the field, 13 times to 9. Or 59% of the games played on the field. In all 22 games Page had almost double LC’s enrollment, which I would assume means that Page was attempting to play a weak schedule.

Yeah, we had our chances also, we and won during regular season. Waverly and Lewis have a long History, first playing in 1926. They have played 41 times with 27-12-2 LC edge. Waverly has won the last 2 meetings by a combined score of 69-28 and Lewis won the previous 2 with a combined score of 92-41. I realized that all means nothing this Friday and this game should be a great one.
