  1. For anyone wondering, nickforte4261 is not actually Nick Forte. Merely a poser.
  2. I don't think anyone can argue with me about Thomas Welch of Brentwood deserving at least a nomination. This dude is huge and he can play with the best of them. If he doesn't deserve it, nobody does.
  3. Good call, WatchThis. CBHS underestimates MBA. MBA's coaches will kill the Brothers. MBA 35, CBHS 10.
  4. Centennial fans and/or players: Who do you think would win BA vs BHS if they played this year?
  5. Brentwood High School is definitely the best team in the state. They played Father Ryan, a very good football team, and blew them away. There's no doubt that Thomas Welch will lead this team to another state championship. He is very talented despite not having much size. I don't think anyone can compete with them, and BA definitely couldn't, not this year.
  6. I think we have established on another board that nickforte4261 is not Nick Forte, at least not the one that some may be familiar with. I am curious as to who you are and why your posting name contains someone else's actual name.
  7. I see Christian Brothers winning this one big. BA's line is too small and Corey Mills will dominate with at least 4 sacks. Prediction: CBHS 56 BA 3.
  8. I have to go with Centennial in this one, basically because of BA's lack of talent. Their line is small and weak, their quarterback and running backs are average but nothing more. Their receivers are huge but not athletic. Their defense doesn't hit really, they just catch the ball carrier. Not to mention that they really don't have any depth, and the Cougars will have worn them out by the 2nd quarter because of their depth. I think Centennial has an edge mentally, as they have nothing to lose, and, honestly, are the favorites in a lot of people's minds. In the end, Centennial has more talent, depth, and better coaching, so they will win. My prediction: 35-14.
  9. I can't say that I agree with your thinking. BA and BHS played one game. BA won that game 17-7. By your thinking, Briarcrest was also better than BA last year because, despite their being blown out by BA, they were state champions and BA was not. While I agree that a lot changes from Week 0 and the state championship game, BA can still claim to have had a better team than BHS in 2002 because they won the only head to head meeting. :justwrestle:
  10. I myself am the starting kicker for a prominent school in the Nashville area. Unfortunately I am 5'4" 114lbs, so there aren't many other positions I can play other than LB, or left bench(HAHAHAHAHA). I was wondering if there are any kickers out there that can actually play during the real game? I believe Ingle Martin was one kicker who actually played a little bit besides special teams. Let me know, guys. :justwrestle:
  11. I have a friend who runs for Baylor and he says that their whole team is planning on winning state next year. He said Webb returns everybody, but their coaching is inferior; McCallie is overhyped; and Bumbalough will only get 2nd this next year. Please tell me he is joking. I can't believe all this stuff.
  12. Does anyone think that Bumbi could be the best runner ever to come out of the state of Tennessee? Will anyone be able to compete with him and push him, or will it be two more easy state championships for him?
  13. Or the "Our players go to class and know what it means to be a true STUDENT-athlete, as opposed to every other team in the SEC" Camp. Also, it's Vanderbilt, not Vanderbuilt.
