    Blake Fulton

Toward the end of the Pearl Cohn - Hillsboro game on Comcast Friday night, Blake Fulton made a comment that a Hillsboro player (he called him by name) was 70 yards away from his team on the sidelines talking to fans in the bleachers and not paying attention to the game. They did not show a camera shot of the player. My question is this : Is this Fulton's Job - to be a tattle tale ??? I just had a real problem with it. Sure it was wrong for the player to be doing this but I don't think it is/was his job to be doing the discipline for Hillsboro's football staff. He also made a comment stating "wait til coach Aydolotte sees this". You would never find this happening in a college game or pros or would you ?? I mean call it like you see 'em but call the game first and foremost !! He and Sperdudo are pretty awful - I think they could do a lot better
  2. I think it is very good of you to come on here and face the music. I will issue some constructive criticism, however - take it or leave it. I am fairly certain that you want to have a broadcasting/media career and that's great. But just like anyone else in the "spotlight" (players, coaches, talk show hosts, writers, etc) you HAVE to know that your comments are amplified and are held up to a certain standard of interpretation and that IF you identity is known on a message board (which in this case it is) you are fair game for people to scrutinize the heck out of you. I have heard your work and you do have a future but I do think it is time to give "wildcatfan" a break and either come up with a new identity or just flat quit posting and just "lurk" on the board. I dare say you don't see Mike Keith or Plaster posting on here about their high school alma maters (and if they do post not many people know about it and they do a pretty good job of hiding it). Being a BGA fan and alum is one thing - yes, you have the "right" to post on any freakin board you want- but you don't want to lose credibility if you want to make the next step - and in all honesty you have - you work for the University of Tennessee now it appears. So let Moore and BGA fight their own battles - they're big boys and you are officially gone from there...and you keep doing the work you're doing as you work your way up the ladder. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.
  3. Wait a minute - I thought MBA's new jerseys were the nice green ones like Fisher wore in the CPA scrimmage. Is he going to wear a green jersey Saturday vs. Trinity ?? Was that a Titans scrimmage that was going on or a normal, hard nosed high school scrimmage. Could not tell at first I agree...Messing with a uniform that has been the same for what (maybe 40 years ??) - yeah that's a good idea. Also the Baptist Sports Med patch on the practice jerseys are a bit much as well. I guess they are the new "corp. sponsor" like Nike. Maybe the coach can talk about it on his new radio show next week
