i would say dave carried the ball just as much as Gaston did when they played together.. yeah he was the TB but teams had to scout 2 people not just 1.. as far as senior year goes yes Gaston was the man.. he did great except for getting shut out by Oak Ridge.. i was at that game and almost everything that he ran was stuffed.. im not taking anything away from Gaston cause hes at Vandy and from what i heard should get some PT as a returner this year cause someone told me hes gotten even faster, which is crazy to think about.. i just believe Bryson is a great talent.. and i just do not agree that if you play for a 1A team the big schools will not look at you.. and in my opinion, he probably wants to follow Shad since Shad lets the stars of his teams do whatever you want.. Wolke thought he was god's gift to quarterback.. he was a very nice guy but was not half as good as he thought he was.. but once again, that was just an opinion

while bryson only finished his freshman year i do believe he has extreme potential.. i believe that most football players are discovered at football camps.. i mean lots of players from across the country go to football camps each summer and whether you play for 1A or 5A does not matter it matters about the ability.. i believe Bryson has lots of it and if he lives up to his potential he will be amazing.. i believe Bryson is far better than Gaston was his freshman year.. time will tell if he becomes better than Gaston, but he is on the right track.. while i do know Bryson and do not know Gaston, i did go to Riverdale and saw gaston a lot.. i do not believe defenses keyed on Gaston as much when Dave was there cause he could hurt you as well and did.. i believe wherever Bryson goes he will be amazing and if he keeps his grades up he will go D1 without a doubt.. and just because a running back got negative yards against a team does not mean he is not good.. that teams offensive line could have a bad game or could be HORRIBLE.. but like i said, only time will tell about his ability.. i believe he will become great and go D1

i was also thinking the same thing about the spear.. but then thinking about it, if he were at riverdale his stats would have stunk cause riverdale never passes the ball, EVER.. and that play was not pass interference (atleast in my opinion).. the east did dominate though with both Spurlock and Rod both having pancake blocks

Wolke is the starting QB at Western Kentucky.. i think western could have beaten Notre Dame this year.. and no i dont think he could start at Notre Dame cause Charle Weis is soo high of Jimmy Clausen is not even funny.. he acts like hes going to be the next Joe Montana

pretty sure smotherman is class of '06.. and what about Charles Orona was one of the best to ever come out of smyrna.. he was the class of '05

no offense but why would Rankin leave Alcoa (state powerhouse and bright future) for Oakland (no offense but not the same caliber as Alcoa).. but hey i guess Rankin doesnt care about rings and his kids all he wants is more money.. or better yet maybe he is tired of losing to George Quarles and Maryville every year.. haha.. hey he shouldnt feel to bad though, they have beaten everyone for the past 60 games in a row.. but hey i guess time will tell

Smyrna 46-20 Bryson got MVP with 172 yards rushing.. his average was 6.2.. scary hes just a freshman

one good thing i can say about smyrna is they work the players out with grades and tell them they need to hit the books.. i believe he will get with it.. i use to play back yard football with Bryson when he was just a little kid and he has had moves and speed ever since i can remember.. great player with heart

i am not 100% on the rule but i do believe that is what it is.. im there there is a better person to ask than me.. Bryson is the real deal though and will play D1

from my understanding you can play high school sports until the age of 19

Bdogg, how are you going to say that smyrna whooped riverdale in the playoffs last year? riverdale missed a field goal that would have won the game.. the only beat down i saw last year was the one riverdale handed to smyrna last year, what was that score again? but the riverdale players respect smyrna's talent but is definitely not scared.. this year riverdale's kicker is better and if called upon, will not miss like the one last year.. should be a great game.. does anyone know if the game will be streamed over the internet? ill be at college in chattanooga all weekend

i dont know whose coaching staff you're looking at.. coach shad and his staff have had one good year, last year.. but i guess we'll all see on friday night

if he wants to got to so cal im all for that seeing as how i love my trojans.. haha.. i mean who wouldnt want to live in so cal with the awesome weather, except the fact that USC is in the ghetto, but it is a great school
