  1. Here we go Fillies-the excitement is about to begin!!!! Take us back to Murfreesboro- It's been a long time since December 5th!
  2. I am going with Huntingdon for the win over Gleason. Gleason's loss against South Fulton will be a disadvantage to Huntingdon. Frazier will have his girls fired up and ready for the game Friday night.
  3. What's everybody's thoughts on this game? I say Huntingdon wins this one!
  4. For all of those that think that Huntingdon is looking past Lewis County to a rematch with Milan, I disagree. The fans are looking to that, but they don't play the game. And since I am a fan, a rematch with Milan would be nice, but I think both teams might have their hands full Friday night. Again, games are played on the field, not by stats or the fans.
  5. Camden played both of them too
  6. You hear ALOT about Huntingdon but what about Union City, have they improved any?
  7. Recently I have heard lots of mention about teams running up the score. I was recently approached by someone from another town and asked me why Huntingdon keeps running up the score. All I could say was that you have to keep you starters in for a decent amount of time for conditioning reasons. I just wanted to see what everyone else thought about the theory behind "running up the score"
  8. I was thinking four, but you might be right, it might be two. Hey, I've been wrong before and I will prob be wrong again. Thanks for the correction.
  9. Ok, correct me if I am wrong, but when was the schedules made out? If I remember correctly, they are made out every four years now. So the current schedule that Huntingdon and Milan play was made prior to the 2001 season. If this is correct, look at the records of Huntingdon's non-region in the first season: Westview was 9-1 and went to the then Clinic Bowl Union City was 7-3 and lost in the Quarter-Finals (this was one year after playing in the Clinic Bowl) Bruceton, I don't know their exact record, but I do know they lost in the Quarter Finals. Lexington was 3-7 So as far as a weak schedule, when they were scheduled, 3 of the 4 teams went deep into the playoffs the following year. Now for Milan: Crocket Co. (no longer a game played, but a VERY quality team) Henry County was 2-8 in 2001 Manasses was 1-9 South Side was 4-6 and Huntingdon was 6-4 and beat Milan So, take the facts and judge for yourself. What might be a bad game this year, might have been a gem when scheduled.
  10. Hey westtn2004state................ True friends never tell a lie. Huntingdon is ranked # 2 (at least for now)
  11. Don't think Lipscomb has an easy schedule. If I understand things correct, Goodpasture is 4th in that region. So I get the impression that the Middle Tennessee regions might be better than people are crediting. But for what it is worth, this isn't the BCS where rankings matter. In fact, if it does anything, it put a BIG bull’s-eye on you.
  12. Don't know what the outcome will be ( I know what I am hoping for) but the media sure is hyping this game up. I have lots of respect for Chester County's program and I wish them the best of luck (except for tonight). But, the game has been talked about lots, and the Jackson Sun wrote up a good article, now it's time to head to Henderson for the most exciting time of the year......... FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Enough about Huntingdon and Milan on this board. If you want to talk about that game go to that message board. Now for this game.............. Since Union City is down and Milan is tough, can the records be thrown out and a tight game be expected? Some games, records don't matter.
  14. Close game or not - Save me a seat I'm on the way! Go STANGS!
