  1. I have never met another high school coach who could out work Frostie. What impresses me the most about him is how he can keep his cool in a playoff game. He looks and acts exactly the same in a playoff game as he does the last week of July on the practice field.
  2. I would get in on this, but I'm a toe digger, my dad was a toe digger, and my grandpa was a commercial fisherman on the TN River. Well, I'm not a toe digger anymore, but once a toe digger, always a toe digger. Beagle probably really doesn't know what you're talking about because he is a Yankee.
  3. I agree Pun. Huntingdon has some of the best fans, and they have been a class act on the T with us all season. They also have some of the best radio announcers around for high school football.
  4. You could say that Vandyfan1. We knew we had a very legit shot at them this time around, just like that one and only time we clipped Wavo in the playoffs after they thumped us in the regular season. It was a very similar setup. We're proud of these boys. Huntingdon is always hard to beat. Hat's off to them and Coach Swensen.
  5. You might say that sir! You don't know how much this win means for us.
  6. Hat's off to Huntingdon's team and fans. You guys never go easy - a class act all the way. Thanks Sportsnutz for keeping us updated tonight. Go Panther Cats! The Johnnie Show is going to Chatt!
  7. Huntingdon by 28. Riverside might as well not go. That daylight practice at Huntingdon this morning was grand. The Tyner game will be close, but Huntingdon can clip them too.
  8. I agree with Guru, but I think Huntingdon will win by 21 pts. I'm always for RHS but they just can't stay on the field with Huntingdon at this point in the late season. Huntingdon is going to add to their gold ball collection and RHS will not stop them on the way.
  9. I knew Riverside had a pretty good team going into the season when they beat Lexington. When I saw what Huntingdon pulled off in the second half (fourth qtr. actually) in the Riverside game, I thought they would be hard for any 2A team to beat. You can complain about your coach over there all you want to Stang City. But he's pretty tough when you're on the other side of the field. I still think they will win it all.
  10. I picked the Mustangs to win the 2 A championship early in the season and it's going to be close, if not so.
  11. Huntingdon heavy favorites at home. Not going to be disappointed, but stranger things have happened. Go Panthers!
  12. My River Rats win again! Hat's off to a tough Lewis Co. team.
  13. I'll be pulling for my boys from RHS tonight. Get after 'em RHS Panthers.
  14. I think another low scoring, hard hitting, game is on hand in "Horn wall." Riverside will win this one and move on. I have thought since September 9 Riverside's playoff road would end in Huntingdon. I still think that.
  15. I'm thinking about leaving CoachT.com after this football season. It is so "early 2000's" with anonymous bashing of other teams, coaches, and persons - not just in fun, but overly aggressive. People can hide behind their monikers and say the meanest and craziest things to others, much like the town political forums used to be before they shut most of them down. People should be accountable for what they post, especially when it comes to youth, and young coaches just trying to make a living by doing something they love. I don't think they will ever change it because of what I say, but I think an email address should be made public for everyone posting on CoachT.com.
  16. Me too! Lewis Co. will be rockin' and Riverside will travel well.
  17. No one wants a nail biter in the playoffs against Johnnie Majors Frost. 18-13 River Rats headed back to Lewis Co. to make things right.
