No no Butchie. I agree 100%. I think our coach is relying on that saying. I see it every Friday night that the slants and seams are there.

I agree Chip. We have not put it ALL together yet. To many spurts on both side of the ball.

The only thing Trenton is missing from being a pretty good football team is a QB. There running backs are for real. The McKenzie defense was tired in the 1st half. The offense only ran I believe 8 plays the first half. Treton came out and did a good job of controling the LOS in the first half and the backs are very shifty and hard to bring down. And they run hard and hit the hole hard. Kudos to the McKenzie Defensive secondary tonight. The line brought pressure and the secondary did a great job of covering their receivers. 5 sacks tonight total. Good win VS a better TP team than everyone gives credit for.

I agree w/ RebelDad. There are still some rabbits in the hat that Wade hasn't pulled out yet. Like I have said before, if it ain't broke don't fix it. But on the other hand, stay within your abilities. If you watch McKinney when he throws the deep ball, he will drop his back elbow. That is what is causing the ball to hang. He is trying to do to much w/ his arm. Throw to your strengths. And I agree w/ all of you. Once we do open up the 15 to 20 yard seam route and out route, we are going to be hard to defend. Heck, we are hard now to defend. Like Chip said somewhere else, we are hitting our stride. And I tonight, I think we hit full stride. Rebels by a bunch. It won't be close. MRP!! Go Rebels.

Well, ok Butchie, will please remove me from your clubs call list. Thanks. I was a little disappointed in that we did not capitalize more on the 7 turnovers vs Dresden. We scored I think on only two of them. Offensively, the short pass and down the seem has to be utilized more. Although I will say that has not been coach's style over the years and if it ain't broke don't fix it strategy may apply here. Then again, who says we aren't showing it very much on film to save it somewhere down the road. I was glad to see Jake was able to go Friday night along w/ Q. Hopefully, this week (just going by what has been said) this may be a rest week for the starters. But TP always comes prepared to play the Rebels. MRP.

Dresden is a much impoved team from years past. McKenzie did not take advantage of the turnovers as much as they should have. Big 86 for Dresden is a player. He had several catches and tracked down McKinney from behind. Overall good game and the game was alot closer than the score indicates. The officials were brutal on both side. I loved the one play where we had 3 flags and they would move it up 15. Then back 15. Then up again 15. My gosh!!! And i wonder why we were there until 10:40.

What does Camden bring to the table as far as returners, type of offense and defense? Who are their goto guys on both offense and defense?

Sounded like from the Huntingdon radio broadcast that UC was sucking wind in the second quarter. Better go and run some wind sprints. And as far as losing just that one player, Colton Speed, that was your entire offense! And McK Rebel Dad is correct, the first time last year, we were without Jake. Second time around though, TORNADO killer!!! None the less, I wish UC good luck this year.

You really never read anything into a jamboree. And I agree, w/ Q and Jake back, the offense will look different. It sounded like listening to Larry and Jones that our defense was locking down late in the game. And it sounded like UC got tired but we were ok. How did McKinney look at QB? And it was good to see that Max is back!!
