  1. On the schedule page, you used to could look back at previous years records. You can no longer do this. Is there a webpage or site that shows teams records for previous years. I am interested to see how schools have faired over the years. Could anyone please help me with this?
  2. A good buddy of mine is a new head coach in Desoto County, Miss. and he did not speak too highly of the way you did him this spring. He said he offered you a job and you took it and then changed your mind very soon after. I would be gun shy to look at you here in Tennessee if I were other coaches. My buddy is a pretty good guy and he was highly disappointed in the way you did him.
  3. Are there any assistant coaching positions open that aren't listed on tssaa.org or here that is already posted. IF so where?
  4. Congratulations to Stewart County. What was the box score for this game? Who pitched? And who provided the offense? Once again congratulations SC and good luck this season.
  5. ELA, How's are things looking for your baseball team? Last year they played well at times. They even defeated Harpeth at Harpeth. Will you have an improved team to pull off upsets this year?
  6. Montgomery Central had a trip to the state tournament last year. Will anyone challenge them this year in the district?
  7. i personally like the five classifications. i believe that it makes competition better. i really think that there should be more classifications in basketball and other sports as well. the travel is going to bad most any way you look at it, tennessee is a state that covers a lot of territory so travel will be difficult almost any way you look at it. personally the private schools should be in a separate private school association anyway, it is that way in every other state, why does TN have to be so difficult.
  8. Any word on possible replacements? I would assume they are conducting interviews now?
  9. I heard a reliable rumor that Mike Coley the new coach in Stewart County has resigned. Does anyone know anything about this and if so what is the problem there?
  10. Freshman Jake West was Stewart County's representative for all district. He had two district wins. 4-0 vs Waverly and 2-0 vs. Harpeth.
  11. Now that the season for a lot of teams is over. Are there any rumors or known coaching changes for baseball teams throughout the state?

Stewart County Freshman Jake West allowed only three hits over 8 innings in route to a complete game shutout over Harpeth.
  13. As the regular season begins to wind down in basketball, are there any rumors as to what Boys/Girls Head Basketball jobs may be open for the 2004-2005 season?
  14. I am from the state of MS and I know that there are many small schools in MS, I also know that there are a lot of great athletes that have came from the state of MS. For example the NFL's leading receiver Jerry Rice is from a small town called Crawford, MS. Others who have come from the state is Walter Payton, the Titans own Steve McNair is from a small 1A school called Mt. Olive, and there are many others. Big shchools are not always better. I think that when you consolidate or have a large school some students won't partcipate because of the number of the athletes. It is like the old saying "Big fish in a little pond, or little fish in a big pond. Small schools are good in alot of ways.
