all i have to say is basin needs to learn some class and take a loss when they come to you, as would have happened about fifty to nothing anyway. but if you want a good program you have to build it from the ground up. i have never liked basin but i will tell you this what kind of program backs out of a game that is less than three months away? copper basin they have no class and if there is a wall of shame, you need a pic of their team. what a disgrace, that is all i say

i feel real good about the new region and i like hearing everyones input. and rooty toot is correct, meigs could battle it out for the region crown with tyler roberts returning, i am not from meigs either. but polk should be very strong with virtually everyone returning. my picks for the region are as follows 1. polk county 2 notre dame 3 meigs county 4 east ridge {3 and 4 could be a toss up} 5 mcminn central 6 howard 7 sequoyah 8 tellico plains what do you guys think about my predictions?

my area top 10 would be 1 baylor 2 ootlewah 3 tyner 4 soddy daisy 5 polk county 6 boyd buchanan 7 notre dame 8 east ridge 9 meigs county {not a misprint, they will be good} 10 red bank

it is great that tyner is getting more strength in and if you guys ask me, they will have an undefeated season. not taking away from boyd because that game will go down to the wire, but region 3-2a will sport your next state champion. and wouldnt it be great if polk county could play or scrimmage tyner again this year. tyner pulled that one out with their backs on the goalline. that would be the game of the year for the area i do believe

im going to go with polk county for the region championship. i look for them to do great things next season with 20 seniors and well over half of them with playing time. the coach there will have them hyped up and ready to go but first we must play copper basin.

i dont know if boyd recruits or what but if you dont have enough class to shake the opponents hands after the game then you r not only setting a bad role for the kids right now, but the kids of the future. i dont know if boyd recruits or what but take nothing away from the accomplishments of boyd they are a great team and deserve alot of credit my opinion is they win state this year but you never know only CPA can stop them and that should be their only problem. outside of region play this week they play goodpasture and i think goodpasture will defeat them but take nothing away from boyd. and as for the other coaches maybe you should just coach better in those games you can beat any team on any given night and sure boyd may be the better team in their region but you should never lay down even if you know you are goning to get trounced. i know that i would love to see this game but my team will be playing at tyner so i got to represent my homies. but this should be a good region game and i was correct last week in picking meigs over wv, on valleyscoreboard.com. im going with meigs by one.

im sorry to hear about the loss for the craddocks. prayers from polk county. but we still have a game to play and yes that does make keelyn want to play harder. but the wildcats have never defeated tyner, and do you know what, polk has been a underdog every year and look at them now. this game will decide 1 and 2 in the region.

being from polk i am not going to defend basin because i hope my boys knock basin all up and down the field, but basin does have a pretty good player in number 30 Aaron Kaylor. but we should contain him tonight.

south pitt may not be as good as they were last year, but i think it will be a close game and yeah, sequatchie may get this one in a nail biter, 21-20. does cody walker get to play next year, if so watch out for da pirates

polk all i have to say is quit getting in here and talking unneccesary trash. we should beat basin by atleast 5 td's, but you know what, that is what we said 2 years ago and looked what happened to us. and ae86, if u are who i think u r, quit getting on here and talking trash. u guys just go out there and play polk county football with some pride and do you know what, if you do that then you will win the game. thats all i say. oh yeah the elephant is very cool.
