Have to be smarter and do your homework. Can't blame anyone but whoever hires them. If it's to good to be true then usually it isn't. Most good coaches have a job so like I say do the ground work and check on whoever you are looking to hire.

We always have a chance to play for a championship so if anyone leaves our program for someone down the road there not thinking straight for sure.. What's the old saying? The grass aint always greener on the other side????

What the crap? I sure had no idea? Hopefully we can schedule someone not so far away. And hopefully in the CST Zone.

Life is hard and we don't understand why bad thing's happen to good people and especially a good christain like Mike, but in the mean time always praying and have been praying for Mike and all the family.. Keeping the faith and know his faith in our Savior..

You just never know about 14-17 year old young men.. Do they work hard to get better or go home and be lazy. Good football teams get better with hard work. I love talent and you have to have it, but give me a player with hard work ethics any day and they want quit on you...

This is really sad to see. After all the games we've had with them at South Pittsburg and to see the history we've had with them over the year's and see it come to this is sad. I hope something or someone can resurrect this once great football powerhouse. But, the town people has to back them and the school has to hire the right person or it's not going to happen.

I'll always remember these fine ladies. Wish my children could have experienced these teachers in there lives. All had a huge impact on my life. I remember the first time I had MS Metz and she was serious about reading the Bible before class and a few of our class clowns got sent to the office for laughing and that was the last time they ever laughed when she was sub for our class. So glad to have many great teachers at SP..

I’m a South Pittsburg fan but just wanted you people in Riverside to know you not only have a great coach but more importantly a wonderful man and human being. I watched y’all’s game on tv and afterwards he gave a very classy speech about being so thankful and was so humble doing it. You guys deserved this championship and hope you really enjoy it and hopefully will be back soon for another because they get sweeter each time.

Congrats to both great teams on an outstanding season. So glad my Pirates brought home another gold ball It’s been a tough season not being able to come to the last half of seasons games with my injury but thanks to all my coach t buddies for keeping me up lifted and for the pirate radio crew for helping me to feel like I was at the games. Sure loved watching our men take home the championship on tv. Looking forward to getting well and be at the games next year.

I know OS has watched that first beat down we gave them several times and have made the correct adjustments and have gotten lots better but on the other hand SP has gotten lots better also. Should be a better game this time I think but way to much fire power from the boys in Orange and black.
