Exactly. And that was my point. We could throw out "stats" all we want like all of Oakland's opponents that they beat only had a total of 24 wins versus MJ's district opponents alone had 30 wins. What does any of this even mean when it comes down to MJ vs Oakland? NOTHING! Hearing people talk about how 7-AAA teams are better than any other team because they LOST to tough teams is just getting old. Get over yourselves and play some football. Strength ranking is a formula. It has nothing to do with what the players are going to do on Friday nights. I can GUARANTEE you that there are teams who had the best Schedule ranking and did not win State in the past. These numbers are irrelevant. The only numbers that matter are the ones lit up on the scoreboard every Friday night.

Trying to argue over who's schedule was harder is irrelevant. Nobody cares. The only teams these 2 have in common are Gallatin and Lavergne. Gallatin barely wins over Oakland and MJ beats the dog mess out of Gallatin. Both teams beat Lavergne. OK. None of this means anything. "Region 7 is the best region in Middle TN/the State." I get so tired of hearing that. How is Oakland even in? They have 2-3 district record with wins over a winless district record and another 2-3 district record. Oakland is better than MJ because they LOST to tough teams? Where is the logic in that?

The second quote is from a few weeks ago when MJ was playing Station Camp. Which is it? Do your kids go to Sumner County schools or Rutherford County schools?

I guess finding the most unique ways to make fun of the other team's name is how the winner will be determined in this game...

This is going to be an interesting game. One of the "finnest" games we will have seen in a while.

I feel that MJ has a solid chance to win this one. This game will definitely require a long hard week of practice. I hope to see the MJ faithful all there for this one.

Rumor around the mill about the MJ-Clarksville game was that the back judge during that game was a graduate of Clarksville High. Just rumor though. It would be a shame to find out that is true. But it doesn't matter any more because that game has already been played. Let us just hope that both teams in THIS game play hard and give us all a great game to watch.

You sound like a very mature person. As far as the game is concerned, it hasn't been played yet, and I am willing to say that it will be a good one at the least. Lebanon is a good squad, and MJ is a good squad. I hope to see some stellar competition and sportsmanship from the players since it will be hard to find from the LHS fans (at least on this message board).

Whatever the case, come early for a seat. It will be crowded. I want MJ to win obviously, but I do not know anything about WC in order to make a guess on this one. I think it will be an exciting game to watch, so if you are looking for a good one to go to, come to MJ for a good'ole game of football.

5 hours and 55 minutes until kickoff between MJ and Hillsboro. The funny thing is, some people are still talking about last week's game. The funny thing is, both teams (MJ and Hillsboro) have moved beyond that game. It doesn't matter if the ankle twist was intentional or not. The game did not pivot on that play. I have heard enough from Tullahoma about last week. Time for them to move on, and think about next year. Furthermore, who cares what Tullahoma did when they played Hillsboro? Tullahoma isn't playing Hillsboro tonight, MJ is. What Tullahoma did has nothing to do with tonight, or last week. Looking forward to a great game. Good luck to both teams.
