What is the latest on Cait's knee?

Great weekend for girls basketball. There were some great match-ups. The Columbia / South Gwinnett game was a classic. It was good to see Lawrence Co and Wayne Co play again. Congrats to Mt. Pleasant on the win over Hickman. I could go on and on. Very nice job by Columbia High and the Rotary Club. Thanks for a great tourney.

Looking forward to the Lawrence Co vs Wayne Co match up. Thats a rivalry that needs to be continued. I remember about 5 yrs ago when they played at Lawrence Co., and it went into one or two overtimes. What a classic.

Columbia is 9-0. Lincoln Co is 6-2. If it is "District "Coach of the year, then Coach Moore at Columbia wins it hands down. Espically if they go undeafeted in district. I think Columbia will end up 12-0 with Lincoln Co. going 8-4. How can a coach go undefeated and not win it and the next closet coach has 3 or 4 district loses. I also think Insell has done a great job of coaching with very little talent this year. My voting goes this way. 1. Moore 2.(Tie) Hardin & Insell 3.Muckell 4.Crabtree 5.Scroggins 6. Snipes

In an earlier post, I said Columbia was overrated. I stand corrected. They are far from overrated. Could not make the long drive tonight, but I listened to the game. Sounds like Columbia from the tip to the horn dominated. Congrats Columbia. Hang in there Lady Raiders. Get em next time.

That is true. You don't ever want to request not to get someone. Then all officials will hold it against you. But I do agree, you have to adjust to the calling. The officials in Tennessee(for the most part) are not very good. There are some good ones. But it has been that way and always will be. Why? You can't get officials to stop their real jobs to go and train to get paid $65.00 per night. Until TSSAA requires more of these guys, or until they get paid only to ref, there will be this problem. I don't like it. And the officiating drives me NUTS!!!!! But, that's just the way it is.

Coffee Co. by 12. Columbia is overrated.

They pretty much got beat in every area of the game by Beech. I know it's early, do you think they will turn this thing around and have a good year. The talent is off from what it has been the last 15 years. No doubt. But at Columbia, you are expected to win. And Coach needs to have a great year(or is his job on the line). Some of the parents are not happy. Go sit on Columbia's side. You can hear the mummering. Could be a long year. Or maybe not.

Big Hurt, I agree. You should not bash coachs or any one else on here. But there should be a standard for locking and not locking post. And there is no standard. If the standard is set and known(which it is not) then there can be no complaints.
