Just found out Rod Wilks made the 1st team offense at the All-American US Army combine. I knew we had a great reciever at Smyrna but I never thought he would make 1st team all-america. Pretty impressive.

Just heard that Smyrna will be playing Gallatin and check this... Maryville. Can't wait to pull off that upset.

If he did come to Smyrna he could play a different skill position. It's not written in stone that he has to play QB.

Mauricio and Chris will decide what is best for them. I assume they both would like to play college ball. If I'm right, than I assume they think there is a good chance they can get a better scholarship playing for Smyrna because of exposure and it always looks good when you are on a winning and possibly championship team in high school. At the end of the day, it's up to them. If they come to Smyrna, they will both be welcomed with open arms and if they don't, then we look forward to competing against them next year.

We could argue that we should be ranked higher than states like Maryland and North Carolina though.

not really. I enjoy the positive attention that comes with winning, but yea the negative crap that comes with it stinks.

Notice that every single player selected was a senior. Who is Roderick Davis? Never heard of him all year. Rod Wilks is the better Rod in Tennessee and the best WR. BJ Coleman didn't lead McCallie to a championship once in his career. Sonny Gray did in only his second year starting. LB Josh Day had 20 sacks and WAY over 100 tackles. Tell me, how does John Stokes make it over him when he only had 85 tackles (doesn't even mention his sacks or lack there of) and his team got no where in the playoffs? And the answer better not be because he's a senior and Day is only a junior because if it is, then this "dream team" is stupid and pointless.

There is NO WAY he is leaving Smyrna. His son Jordan wouldn't allow it. That kid bleeds purple and gold.

Watson and it takes more than a good QB to be a good TEAM. Besides, being predicted to finish last is just someone's opinion.
