  1. i remember a few years ago not long after Perry Co got their football program started,, i was helping with the jr pro and Summertown talked to some people here about getting started, glad to see they are really doing it finally, They always have some athletes there and i think donw the road they should be able to compete with the rest of the district
  2. what everyone from Perry Co on here should do is quit running their traps on here and lets the boys show everyone else they play from now on that thay are still a force to be reconded with
  3. LC did help us out a lot when we started fb back up again here,,and we appreciate it,,and i'm sure Coach Sharp is happy to see us keep it up and starting to have some success,,,been a while since we've played them at the HS level,,hard to do when they shoved us across the river with the private schools so long,,glad to be back over here playing the teams we play in other sports for sure,,good luck to both teams Friday night,,wish i could go
  4. lord i haven't posted in a long time,,,i went to Lewis Co,,,but i live in PC now,,,my step son played for PC,,both bunches can run their traps pretty well still i see,,just shut up and let them play,,,i think Hohenwald will be surprised how much we've improved since you used to kick our tails regularly when we first got started,,,
  5. There was another character around back then as well but I can't remember his screen name. was it Festus?
  6. I think it is because McEwen was an automatic qualifier and the wood and C'ville are wild cards..but I could be wrong, who knows with the T$$AA
  7. great line,,this is one big mess,,glad my kid isn't playing anymore
  8. Forrest was the only full ride, Brad & Calvin got partials at Bethel, Joey got a partial at North Alabama
  9. I know we paid a few of the HS kids to work at the concession stand the last couple of years, no band so that doesn't help with the ticket booth, but the girls at the HS office usually take care of that. not sure who is on the chain gang now, my work schedule changed so I work Friday nights now. we had a good core come up from the start of the Jr Pro program, the Skeltons, us, the Trulls, Snuffy...but all our kids are gone now
  10. You probably know who I am viking fan, till this last season, my wife and I did a lot for the program at PC(concession stand, chain gang, helped coach the junior pro for a while, carried equipment to the away games)..ok I gave it away lol. It has always been hard to get folks to help, everyone wants to watch their child play of course, you just have to get a good core of folks and welcome any help you get at all from anyone else..
  11. think Texas' shade of orange with a dark blue...seems like a good combo to me
  12. good advise, they will twist and turn everything you say
