DB needs the Jefferson Countys of the world...else Graham would never win a first-round playoff game..

Sevier has three losses now... JCHS and Seymour play next week..Monday and Tuesday

Should compete with Morristown West and Sevier County for top spot in District 2-AAA. The winner of the district has a good chance to make it to substate, with Science Hill looking like the only dominate team in District 1. Jeff County returns 10 seniors including at least four or five that should go on to play college at some level. New coach Josh Warner has brought a lot of excitement during the offseason. New outfield fence, new brick backstop, new playing dirt, etc. Hopefully it will translate to wins on field.

Why would you leave the Sevier County school system, where they have money for anything they want, to come to this county. His stipend at SCHS as an assistant is probably more than Anderson was getting, not to mention his teaching pay if he does teach. If I was a 6A assistant, I wouldn't want to become a head bad enough to move here.

If you factor in the mess that the school system/county government is in..I just don't see your big fish jumping at the chance to come to Jefferson County...It's either going to be someone with ties to the program (i.e. Erik Hutchins, Joe Case) or an assistant coach that is just itching for the chance to be a head...
