  1. I agree. I was there and seen it in real time as well. The kid's dad for Meigs went livid (which if it was my child, I probably would have done the same just simply because it was my kid). It was a great lick IMO.
  2. Football is a dangerous sport. Tennis or Golf may be a better option.
  3. Targeting in HS football just warrants at 15 yard penalty and is considered a personal foul...That's why he got to continue to play.
  4. Yeah. Right in the sand trap on #7 at Green Hills! I don't think you know as much as you claim you do!!!!
  5. Look, honestly I don't care who you are. But Jacket3:16 and the construction worker both think I'm you. I just ask that y'all make up and meet one Friday night and identify yourselves to one another. This is becoming like a show my grand mother use to watch right between the Price is Right and The Talk of The Town.
  6. I thought the call early in the game to go for it when the score was 10-0 from their own 30 yard line was a little aggressive for Meigs. Westy goes on to score on that drive making it 16-0. Meigs answered back. #5 for Meigs is a player, but made a lot of Freshman mistakes you can’t have there at the end. You have to keep your head. As far as the hit delivered by 14, I thought it was fine. Definitely seen a lot worse. Also people should learn the difference between High School and College. In High School a helmet to helmet is a 15 yard penalty (no ejection). In college it is reviewed and if deemed, the player is ejected. All in all a solid game. Safe travels to Meigs and good luck to Westy moving forward!
  7. First name Dansby, Last name Gilmore. I've got a good idea of who you are. Jacket316 is known for kicking things. He may just run into you sooner than later and well...you know the rest!
  8. Will not be a blow-out. Macon turned the ball over 4 or 5 times against Smith County and lost by 1 score. Smith just beat East Nashville who has tons of athletes. This game will come down to a late score. There is a reason that #7 is up for Mr. Football. I favor the team with the best athlete on the field come Friday. 35-27 Macon gets it done.
  9. He chose alcohol over English class. Looking back, can't say I blame him!
  10. Not sure why the past is getting brought into this. If that was the case, Trousdale wins this one easily. BUT we all know that isn't going to happen. Indians versus Rams. Not sure I have ever heard of that match-up. Two unique mascots. Usually it's a Tiger versus an Eagle or a Wildcat...Maybe we will get to see this match-up. I would give the edge to the Rams.
  11. Trousdale for sure doesn't have the team this year to put up a fight. Like one stated, they are just glad to keep the streak alive at 35. Hopefully the Rams can keep the training rolling. I have seen their team in the past 4-5 years to have the better athletes and honestly a better team, but self destroy. If they can stay away from those mistakes, I like their chances of playing for the Gold Ball!!!!
  12. It was good seeing you and another member of the family tonight! Go Vols!!!
  13. Keep telling yourself that little guy! Anytime you want your kids to compete against mine in a spelling bee, hit me up! TC will win again!!!!
  14. Seems to me when you left, the school systems scores got higher....Problem fixed. TC has some of the highest scores in the State now. You may want to do your homework (for once) before replying!
  15. I agree. It's a love/hate relationship in TC. Win and go deep into the playoffs, you are loved. Lose and you are nasty and everyone turns their heads when they see you. When the getting is good, everything is good. When the creek is dry, everyone points fingers. GET OVER IT!!!!! Ghost, GhostofthePast, GhostoftheGhost, Ghost this, Ghost that, or anyone else that is hating on B-Satt and TC Football right now, when they climb back on the mountain, don't try to jump on the wagon. These are trying times, and true colors are being showed. I've personally seen and heard TC Faithfuls do things this year that I've never thought I would see. First and foremost, it is a game. We love football and are very passionate, BUT IT IS A GAME. Attacking young kids and coaches who have families is not ideal. And I'm sure you are perfect and never make mistakes. Also, we have been spoiled in TC. It's ok to have a down year or 4 or 5. Be proud of the surrounding teams having success. We have had our piece of the pie. Stay Humble! We will be back!
