What is the word has Flatt accepted? Also, I have always been told by outsiders that during Mac's glory days players from out of county contributed greatly. Is that fiction or fact? Also that later on BD of Ed ended the process by changes in policy. What is fact and legend. Also, can out of county kids now play in MC?

I am sure Flatt is a high quality coach. It would have to be a little more difficult for darth vader not being able to recruit like his days at the evil empire.

Wayne County will still be a young team. A host of freshmen and sophs got extensive playing time this year . Backfield will be lead by senior #4 but also look for this years freshmen backs #5, #8. Off season will be very crucial. Young kids must get stronger to compete. They have alot of potentially good lineman that with added strength can be competitive. Incoming freshman class( might have seen them play at MP) also has some good prospects. Will have to find a quaterback. Early favorites will be a Junior who played back up this year and coach rice's kid who will be a freshmen. Probably a year away but as greenman said could be a dark horse. Key will be better devensive play.

Mr Football is a great award and goes to a great player each year. Many things go own behind the scenes like coaches calling and asking for votes and so forth it is sometimes like the heisman a great player gets it , but other greats are always left out. We felt like Jarrod Baugus was more deserving than Scooter one year especially considering his team beat DCA early that year. Congrats to all the award finalist.

This was a great game up unti middle of 4th quarter. DCA lines play was amazing but the undersized Wayne County team's line played great. Wooden got his numbers but Ruddle and Hammack from Wayne County combined to rush for almost 300 yds. Congratulations to the Wayne Co. Wildcats on a great year and to the seniors on a great carrer. I was concerned about DCA's coaching staff leaving all starters in on their last defensive series. The game was in hand but Woooden, 56 , 31, 72 and all the rest didn't come off the field. I think thay would not dare risk injury that late in the game . Congrats to DCA.
