  1. Who will win? I think it'll be a good game, but I say Catholic wins 3-1. It should be very physical though.
  2. Penguin, lampost, i'm impressed with you two. You guys are awesome guys and i've enjoyed seeing you two grow over the years. I'm proud of you for keeping your posts classy and defending your teammates. Dins8, I think I speak for everyone when I say thanks for your opinions and points about the game. Both CAK and Catholic are great teams, but very, very far from perfect and still have a ton of stuff they can improve on. It's awesome to have an "outsider" (someone not on our team) who can give insight into and critique our play so we can see aspects of our own game that we are lacking in and need to work on. And I love how you keep your posts unbiased and classy. I'd still like to know who you are though.... maybe you can reveal it after the season ends?
  3. So you want schools to pick and choose what sports play AAA and which ones don't? That doesn't make much sense, the school should play every sport on the same level, whichever level it is. A team that the soccer team beats will most likely beat the football team- its not like the schools dominate in every sport in their classification. And with the whole recruiting thing, I know some public school teams who have excellent players who have transferred in from a school with a weaker team by taking advantage of a random rule or by moving. Just because a school has some good players, it doesn't mean its a result of recruiting. There's things called coaching, hard work, team unity, etc. that make a team what it is. Talent only goes so far. And CAK and Catholic don't recruit, I think the TSSAA would have them both in DII if they did. I know this should be in the private/public debate board, but oh well, haha sorry.

    Times of Games

I understand where you're coming from with this, but I doubt it'll get changed. This is the region tournament and I think all the teams want to keep it at the normal time. It would be very nice if the games were on different nights cause i would like to watch the bearden/farragut one, but that is probably impossible too.
  5. And by cleats, he means soccer cleats without sharp metal things sticking out of them...
  6. I don't know why you thought that that was what he wanted to be said, but oh well. He was just saying what was true and he misunderstood your post a little. No need to try to start an argument or anything over it. Where does Darsinos play high school? Those are impressive numbers!
  7. Cool, I have a few friends on there and have always respected your team. Best of luck tonight and for the rest of the season, I hope you all do well at state.
  8. I think he means CAK's playing style and them being used to their larger field will make playing on Catholic's field harder. Catholic is used to their home field, as most teams are so it isn't as big a deal for them. I don't think the field makes a huge difference, though, and it won't effect the outcome of the game in any major kind of way. But it is nice to have home field advantage, so winning this game is important for both teams because it determines who has home field advantage in the regional tournament next week.
  9. I haven't seen Bearden play recently, but I know Farragut is playing really well and if they're on, I think they'll win. They definitely have the talent to win it, but if they don't show up with their best effort, I think Bearden will come away with it.
  10. Who do you play for? I play for CAK so thanks for your kind words about our team.
  11. Don't count Carter out of AA District 3. I haven't actually seen the play, but I know Mark Sherrod is amazing and can be dangerous.
  12. I think Farragut should take this game pretty soundly. I don't know if they still have injuries, but if they're healthy, I say they win at least 2 or 3 to 0.

    PUZZLED

Webb isn't in A/AA so that game probably didn't have an affect on the ranking change. I don't know any details though. Maybe another team just had really good results that week and jumped ahead of CSAS. Remember that rankings aren't that big of a deal anyway, it's the tournament performance that gets a team to state, not its ranking.
  14. I think Knoxville is pretty much decided, but I'm not totally sure.
