Doyle is a class act that is why I started this thread. And to you Swole 99 I say, as a great writer once said. "You can only be better if you are he" think about it. What the paper said in Memphis shouldn't matter to anyone, they get everything wrong anyway. They had after the Farragut VS. McMInn game a whole story about how Mcminn had avenged an ealier loss and won the game to advance 7-3. What the paper did was take Doyle out of context. I talked to some of their players in Memphis and they said the Commercial appeal twisted it to get a story line. Mr Doyle, you are a class act and your whole team was this year, We are glad we only scrimmaged you and didn't have to meet you in the playoffs

In east Tennessee : McMinn could be a very formidable foe for anyone next year and while they have a lot returning, you can't sell Farragut short, not all of their stars were graduating and the coaches they have are smart and seem to be able to squeeze all out of their talent. I think they will still be tough to beat next year. Catholic is returning alot but not really key players they need to have the expectations this years team had. Lenoir city will miss Mr Soccer Mitch Thomas and CAK will miss Bowman but both will be good . Science Hill will fall off some and Dobyns Bennett may be the best in the North East again. Cleveland still will be under MCMInn and Bearden and Maryville will be up for next year.

Tacker Dad, am I missing something? What does graduating players have to do with a loss this year?? What the poster was saying is that had Farragut played CBHS later in the season, a different result would have happened. Farragut sat starters and had some injuries that hobbled their best players in the first game, and proof of the pudding is where was CBHS in states, they were home early and Farragut BEAT, not won, BEAT, their opponents bad. Had Farragut played CBHS at the end of the year with a healthy team, Farragut would have dominated, in fact, in the first game, Farragut outshot, had two goals called back, ( which a picture was on Coach t showwing the goal was not offsides that a newspaper reporter had taken) And the outstanding player Whittset played on Houston this year and at states Farragut whipped them 5-0. Their is no doubt that the best team at the time in counted in Tennessee was Farragut. And they might have lost to CBHS early, but they are State Champions and CBHS is not. I saw CBHS play 5 times this year and Farragut at least that many. I am defending someone who was not even in our division, BUT, I kept track of facts and numbers and records and Watched all the teams and Congrats to Farragut they had a great year

While My list is east top heavy, check out the final 6 in the finals, 4 EASTERN Teams, 1 west and 1 middle Tennessee , 2 of those Eastern were State Champions and 2 State Champion Runnerups, That leads me to believe the strength was there and to all the MCminn Rahoos ,yes, Price was good, But I said Compare your best to Doyle and Britcher and noone adds up...and Andy Slack was decent but not in their league. Really no one was this year!!!

Now, I know alot of you will get on here and say Tommy Icanscore from Passadena High, who has played nobody and scored 82 goals and is faster than a cat , and has the moves of Brittany Spears ,was the best player BUT reality is NOONE really stopped Doyle this year and he had hat tricks against major teams. He was the most dominant player in ANY division and if you don't agree, you just haven't seen him play. Jared Britcher is really just as good and he is also on Farragut but was the quiet type and scored just as much, but missed alot of publicity.(Bryan Hill was unbelievable on Farragut too.) And you have Mitch Thomas from Lenoir City, Bowman From CAK and Price from Mcminn, Giordano from Knox Catholic, Karter Smith from Baylor,Jon Ring at ECS, Ramirez from Sheffield, Jason Logue from Ridgeway. BUT NONE, dominated a year better than Doyle and Britcher. Unless you have some real backup don't even try to contest this post just agree and congratulate these great players. But honestly LCSoccer and Playdo were my favorite posters this year so have at it guys!!

I will still love MCallie, for sure, and my identity was also requested by lcsoccer, but the only hint I'll give is, it would shock you and you and you too!!

These two teams were not onlyu the best in class, but a pleasure to watch, CAK coach has done a good job but LC has the bkue suede shoes and a ton of class!! LC, I watched both teams all the way thru and it was a blast. Mitch, you are exceptional , good luck in college!~!!!

I like PLAYDO, he is always at least fair and willing to ante up.. But, I was there for that game after we left ours and believe me, McMInn got away with a lot of crap too. They fractured one of Farragut players jaw with an elbow and the santi whatever his name defender, just fell when Doyle juked him. ASK HIM YOU DOUBTERS < WE ALL SAW IT> Farrragut had staarted pulling their starters when McMinn got two quick goals, and when the starters went back in they scored three quick goals. Sorry fans, who ever said this game was close was not there, Shame on all this rhetoric(Playdo did I spell that right) over a game Faragut whipped and manhandled McMinn... the only thing close about the game at 4-3 was the score and MCminn fans not there , the score did not stay like that long, It was not a close game ever, Farragut controlled from start to finish, but I do admire your fans energy, and the guy from Farragut running up and down the sidelines has been doing that for years in club, he just loves his son and soccer and has the same enthsiasm your fans do, he's harmless, loud aND ACTUALLY A NICE MAN.,.

Here you go tootin horns about next year, We aren't even out of states 2 days. One of the great onesLenoir City will drop off in A/AA unless we get some more moveins, losing Martin will hurt moral but not talent. AAA teams and McMInn Read this and weap , OAk Ridge may not be that far off next year, and Farragut and Bearden will still be powers, and until someone seriously Knocks of Farragut they are the Champions. One thing amazed me at the tournament is how may players their coach threw in. He must have alot of depth and confidence in his team. Mcminn will be very good, but, But, They have still got to beat the full arena of KNoxville to claim they are the best, IT's a long way until next season

Had Farragut left all their starters on the field the score wouldn't have been 7-3. Ok, I was right and I was wrong Farragut is 4 goals better than McMInn, but I was wrong, yu scored.... We left the Lenoir Game, They played GREAT, and came to this game, Sorry, Farragut wasn't fouling like you said MCtribe# 10 , They only got 1 yellow card the nwhole game, and you fouled one of their players so bad and sent him to the hospital??? I reallty thought ya'll fouled more than Farragut, and DUde, Bottonm line is like I said, Farragut is better than you today, yesterday and tommorow. But I won't write more, because all I care about is getting LC thru..Outta here
