agreed, i went to mus till my freshman year and played on 7th and 8th grade teams that went 19-1 combined. this years senior class at mus is the best since 97 or 98 when richard moore played. jd lawhorn just signed with ole miss and is only a few hundred yards away from breaking the all time career receiving record at mus; also, kane alber is a great back with amazing speed and good strength. i wouldnt be surprised if they end up in the clinic bowl this year.

Pearl Cohn almost lost it to mus that year

another back that goes unmentioned is kyle gowen from mus (96-98). in his three years he managed to break andy mccarroll's single season and career rushing records even though mcarroll started as a freshman and had double the carries of gowen. gowen was also about 5'7 or 8 and from what i hear could never bench over 190 lbs (?).

whatever happened to coach jeff mcferrin? he is still one of the all-time greats in memphis football history from his years at Germantown and is highly capable of leading a football team. looks like rosemark needs some enrollment adjusting.
