Gatlinburg Pittman... Got 2 big time freshman transfers from Lakeway Christian... Maliyah Glasper and Nya Burns... add the return off Maddy Newman and they are as talented as anyone in AA. Westview is the favorite to repeat, but GP is going to be capable of beating them.

The same referee that made terrible calls in yesterday's game is making terrible calls again in Fayette Ware-Creek Wood.... maybe this guy is not up to par to referee a state tournament game. Is there a standard for that?

If Westmoreland and Westview both play each other, it may be first team to 20 wins. Both of those teams are phenomenal on the defensive end of the floor. Westmoreland plays slow and under control and is one of the best defensive teams across the state as is Westview.

GP Gibson Alcoa Westview Alcoa got 2 players eligible a few weeks ago so the Alcoa you saw in the regular season is not the same Alcoa right now… adding a big 6’2 post makes a big difference.

Karly is a heck of a player as is Jada… similar in ways but also different in their ways. Both players play under control and value the possession of the ball. Both players are capable of taking over a game when/if they want to. Tonight will be a war and I’m looking forward to being there for it.

Ensworth beat them… Bearden beat Montverde who beat Webb at Webb… MTCS has competed with Webb twice this year as well. Great team with a ton of talent, but still some good teams that can play with them.

The pressure has turned up… it’s postseason basketball. I’d be interested in seeing Loretto’s scoring from last night.

I said it a few weeks ago and was criticized. I just don’t think Loretto’s role players are as good as Westview’s. They may prove me wrong Saturdays, but I think Westview is the better team and wins this game.

Tennessee is recruiting her… Kellie is doing a great job, just have to give her some time. She got a big time commitment today and another on the way from what I hear that will make Tennessee a national contender heading into next season.

Alabama was in there tonight watching Jada. Would be nice to see her at Tennessee, but Alabama wants her pretty bad.

I’m not sure there’s another team in the state that shoots the three ball like Westview does. Kylee Alexander lit it up tonight! As someone else stated, Jada was about 70% tonight, struggled in the first half but was pretty tough in the second half. As for Westview and Loretto, I think Westview is the better team. I posted that on here a few weeks ago and caught some backlash but Westview simply has the better supporting cast around its star player. Karly is going to be tough to deal with, but I’ll take Westview on Saturday night.

Haskins has had bad luck with injuries to key players in these tournament runs… Jada will be on the floor tomorrow night, but she’s not going to be 100% obviously. Westview has to play this right to try and win but also limit Jada as much as possible. Wilkins is going to have several different options on how to play this. Westview has not shot well against 2-3 zone in the Hickman or Huntingdon game and that was with Jada driving, penetrating, and kicking. I’m not so sure she will do much of that tomorrow. Gibson could also press and see how that plays out. What do we do offensively against the Westview zone? Should be a good one!

Gibson and East Hickman went about as I expected. I really thought East Hickman might’ve taken a play out of Westview’s book and ran some zone but they never did. Jada will be out there playing on Wednesday. She’s a tough kid. Westview and Gibson County part 4 is going to be fun…

Nothing exciting to report between Gibson/Camden. It went about as expected. I think we will beat East Hickman in similar fashion.

Idk about the flea market but wouldn’t be surprised. I never knew Bell Buckle existed until about 4 years ago.

Pray that Jada, McCall, and the 7 other players for Westview don’t hit shots… Bell Buckle is a pretty neat spot in all seriousness. The cafe along with several old stores right there in the middle of town. Several famous people have been through Bell Buckle and the cafe. Big money area!
