Did VB lose a lot of seniors from last year ?

I will have to admit.....West Tennessee Girls Basketball fills some big gyms there, an unbelievable atmosphere.

Allyssa West, an 8th grader @ Defeated school in Smith County will be a name to remember, a hard workin and naturally talented young lady..gotta watch her.

I have to agree tradertwo...but I feel blessed to have been able to watch this young lady develop in her middle and high school career. I have heard her and seen her state many times of how much love she has for the game and it showed with the many many hours she worked to develop her skills. lookin forward to the next stage and I don't think I will get to consistently see anyone like her in my life time.

# 4 Swafford is a good player that deserved to be a finalist, but she is no Jaycee Coe.

I spent my Saturday up until game time with anticipation of how in the world Jim Brown could have his girls play a team of Union City caliber with a chance to win. He never ceases to amaze from that sideline. Union City did everything they needed to do. Congratulation and they did it with class.

Everything on paper says Union City should win the Gold, but that is why they play the game. And 7A is right there again. Hoping everyone plays good and don't get hurt.............as both teams are receiving precious metal tomorrow.

Someone posted about Meigs County # 4 being overlooked for Miss Basketball finalist..............I total agree she should have been a finalist. She is a player ! But Jaycee Coe should win.
