  1. catholic has one of its biggest line ups they've had in quite some time starting 3 big guys with harrison smith being the shortest. matt crawford has stepped up his game a lot from last year with confidence to attack the rim, also hes been a very good shot blocker. sophomore daniel hood has been very impressive from the 5 position getting offensive rebounds and blocking shots. with harrison you get what you expect, a big athlete that runs the floor and blocks shots. ryan walden has done a good job with the move to point guard. michael conaty has looked really good as a scorer this year. guards adam ponzurick and cody smith have looked good off the bench. guys like paul hook, demarcus mitchell, and mark david kennedy have looked good down low off the bench. all in all catholic has one of its deepest teams in quite some time.
  2. from knox catholic t.j. franklin 6-5 260 class of 06 probably an OT zak tait 6-3 285 class of 06 big time potential as a guard both are D1 athletically
  3. how big of an impact do you all think quarterback play will be? i think its gonna be crucial b/c i dont think blair and lindsey are just links between rogan and harrison. they will both have to play their best games in order for their teams to win. i think the qb that makes the fewest mistakes and best manages the game will win. i'd give lindsey the advantage here
  4. the truly great players step up in clutch situations. i believe that harrison and rogan are both great players. they both have a knack for making plays in the clutch. so far, harrison has gotten the better of rogan in 1 on 1 situations. but, i believe both of these athletes will make big plays friday night so they will offset each other. the game will come down to who has the better supporting cast. personally, i think the x-factors in this game will be jamichael mathis for the falcons, and patrick kelly for the irish. look out for these 2 guys friday night
  5. no his grandfather died a painful death from a combination of cancer and diabetes
  6. it wouldnt surprise me to see the fulton d keying on harrison all night long whether hes lined up at wing or wide receiver. but i think this will open up big play opportunities for players like brian hartmann, matt pfleger, and michael browder. also i think eric lindsey will have a great game with his late grandfather watching over him.
  7. keep an eye out for eric lindsey and brian hartmann of catholic. i think they will both have to have big games on both sides of the ball in order for catholic to win.
  8. these 2 teams have been on a collision course to meet each other again. we've all been wanting to see this game, and our wish has been granted. this is gonna be a great game but i think it's too close to call right now
  9. this is not gonna be an easy game for catholic but i'd say that they will win because of the home field advantage
  10. catholic was sloppy but i think everyone would have been sloppy with the conditions on friday. we'll see in the playoffs how it all pans out
  11. in 3A, harrison smith, athlete- knox catholic zak tait, OG- knox catholic smith gets all the highlights and is the best athlete in all of 3A. anyone would love to have him. tait is a very underrated guard in catholic's prolific wingbone running attack. tait is a huge 6-3 285 lb sophomore guard that has been dominant. he did an excellent job of containing fulton's antonio hamilton for most of the game.
  12. any chance of an irish let down after the huge win over fulton last week?
  13. depending on young jock's health, but fulton in a rout
  14. pemberton has done more with less talent than a lot of people in the state
  15. 1a. Fulton 1b. Catholic 3. Carter 4. Austin East 5. Kingston 6. Claiborne Co. 7. Rutledge 8. Anderson Co. 9. Seymour 10 Scott Co.
